Gallows Hill made waiting in line fun. Actors in character were outside to entertain us while we waited. Once we got inside, there was sufficient space to sit. One family had to leave because their child got scared in the dark so it may not be a good activity for kids that are afraid of the dark. The show was very good and suitable for families, kids, seniors... anyone!
Gallow Hills provided a great experience for our group. It was just right for a diverse group and the show provided something for everyone, some fun and just the right amount of creepy. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism of the acting, special effects and story.
I've taken a student group to the theater show and the trolly tour twice. Both are fantastic and Erik and the others at Gallows go out of their way to accommodate groups. Thanks for everything!
The tour with BMW, Black Mary Widow, was the funniest tours ever. She was great. Request her when u book this tour. Laughed the whole time. Also, the theater show was extremely professional. We went to other shows in town and this one is by far the top of the line.
We went to Gallows Hill and saw the show they do regarding witchcraft. There were only four people in the audience, a not very busy Friday afternoon, but the staff did a great job with putting on an enjoyable performance. After, the actors answered some questions we had regarding Salem in general, which was very nice and helpful.
We visited Salem last week for a few days and decided to do the G&L tour for some spooky night time fun and it did not disappoint. Our guide the infamous Dr Sanguinary was scary and hilarious, his interactions with driver Doug and ad lib was great. Highly recommend you do this tour, time well spent. Sure it was dark but that added to the fun, and we got to see the full moon over the harbor, to which the Dr gave a few howls at :) Also, while waiting for the trolley, since we got there early, we decided to see their stage show, which we thought might be a bit corny. It was I suppose, but nevertheless it was surprisingly good and fun, the live performers did a great job of portraying the spooky characters while giving a dose of historical facts, great job!
