I chose this site predominantly for the new updated pool complex. My daughter loves swimming and has no fear when it comes to water slides so Le Littoral seemed ideal. The pool did not disappoint. Plenty to do and good fun for all the family. The only grumble I had was that the pool area is not very well supervised. It seemed the rules on no inflateables etc were not being enforced meaning you quite often have a child in a huge inflateable ring land on your head! The flumes are also not monitored which meant you often had pushing up the steps and at the top, especially on busy days. An accident wating to happen I felt. The staff, however, were very keen to enforce the no swimming shorts rule....budgy smugglers only for men I'm afraid.
The campsite is well maintained and pitches are adequate. Bar area is lovely with plenty of entertainment (if that's what you want). Staff friendly and knowledgable. One of the girls at reception recommended a restaurant to eat at in local Les Sables. We went there and it was excellent.
Beach is only a short walk from the campsite, lovely for watching the sunset.
Bike hire is a little expensive and not a lot of choice so take your own if you can.

One of the best YELLOH sites, period. The nearby "rocky beach" is totally fascinating as our Kids here learned about the tides. The remodeled indoor pool area is just wonderful and the provided accomodation (Premium mobile home) was worth every penny.
Finally the staff is superfriendly and highly motivated.

Firstly we had a great family holiday, in no small part due to the fantastic swimming pool complex which our 5 year old loved. I can't fault the entertainment which was exactly what families need - a good mix of things for both adults and children, although we found the start times for evening entertainment a little late. We didn't try out the kids club but had we felt the need, we would have had every trust in the entertainment staff that our son would have been both safe and happy. I feel that entertainment is what this site does really well.

We did however find the shop expensive but somewhat limited in what it had to offer in comparison to other sites we've visited. The fresh bread patisserie was lovely however and reasonably priced.

We were also a little perplexed by the layout of the touring/ tent area with regard to access to the facilities. Some of the plots, including ours, are quite a long way from the shower block if not walking as the crow flies which involves walking across someone else's plot which we weren't comfortable doing. There were often queues for the ladies' shower which for some reason had fewer shower cubicles than the men. I resorted to using the men's in the end as at 7 months pregnant I didn't want to stand for ages waiting and the men's showers were always empty.

The site is not the 'prettiest' landscaped and our plot was fairly barren despite paying a little more, although I understand that if you're willing to pay more at booking you can choose your plot. This did not help us much as we'd never been before.

Customer service was always excellent and staff very responsive. The restaurant served good food at reasonable prices and service was good.

Good location for lots of family activities within an hour or so.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely say it's worth considering for families. Unfortunately we were very spoilt the year before with our stay at Sequoia Park further south - we couldn't help but compare the two which are both 5 star sites and Sequoia often came out best, with the exception of the entertainment.

We stayed for 10 days in Le Littoral at the end of Aug/beg of Sep. It is very well run site, With lovely environment and surrounding, the staff is also one of the big plus. My 7 year old didn't go to kids club, but I can see the people run the club are brilliant with children. I joined the Zumba classes almost everyday, and thanks the instructor Pierre, very professional and hard working, also teaches other fitness classes, made me stay fit and enjoying work out even on holidays!
The swimming pools are nice and kids can spend whole day there.
The evening entertainment are also impressive and gave us surprising fun. We love the magic show and the Summer 2016 final show very much.

The beginning when we arrived was a bit disappointed as it was extremely packed, and the cottages are very close to each other and you can hear your neighbour conversation sometimes in the patio.
Overall we had really lovely holiday and was thinking to go back next Summer !
