When I went inside to the concession stand to buy popcorn and a drink and paid less than I would for a movie ticket at another movie theater. The place is clean and inviting. You got check this place out.
Oh! Did I tell you that the tickets are cheaper than any other theater inside or outside.
Excellent sound system and you can't beat the price. Very friendly owner with very few minorities or immigrants to make your viewing experience very rewarding.
You are missing a great time if you haven't come to the West Shore Movie Theater in a while. Their sound system alone is worth the trip for the right movie. Since they closed to install their digital equipment, business seems to have fallen off, but it's the same great theater--only better. The old Art Deco (I think that's the right period) decorations are the same, the seats are comfy and the snacks are a lot less expensive than at one of your usual multiplexes. Lots of parking in the lot across the street from the theater or on the street if you are early. Tickets are $4 anytime, but Tuesday's are $3 or $5 for a couple. Great Date Night Deal!!!!! The theater is currently for sale. Please let's start filling the seats any night to keep this theater open. Oh, yes. 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday's is free. Bring your kids and spend that money on snacks.
Great place to see movies that have been out several weeks or longer for cheap price. It's only $5,00 per couple or $3 on Tuesday and $5 other nights. Food and snacks are reasonable also. Digital, surround sound. Easy to find, on Main Street in New Cumberland. Parking in huge lot across the street.
This locally owned retro-style movie theatre is a total "must experience" when near the New Cumberland, PA area! For a little theatre it sure has good sound and a huge screen for an awesome movie experience! You'll just love it! Yes, the movies are not the latest, but it's so inexpensive and such a safe family oriented theatre where one can really relax and enjoy the show! Sunday afternoons they often offer free shows, typically just asking for a donation! They have a nice selection of popcorn, candy and drinks making for an awesome movie theatre experience!! There's a BIG parking lot right across the street so free parking is not an issue! Come check this great little theatre out! Show times are typically Tues.-Sat. at 7PM with a Saturday & Sunday Matinees at 2PM!
If you've never been to an old movie house, you'll be thrilled if you visit the West Shore Theatre. As soon as you walk in, you're taken way back a couple decades. The theatre offers up-to-date sound & movie technology, and you'll be so comfortable in lush seating. Prices are very low; a quarter of the price of what you'd pay for a normal-priced ticket today. I'm not sure if management does this anymore, but they used to play old movies from the past on the big screen. I saw The Wizard of Oz there, which was great; I thought I'd never see it on a big screen. It's really worth visiting. I know you would also enjoy the good cheap food, and the friendly staff that works there.
