I stayed at this hotel for four days and was very happy with it. The room itself was great and I liked having the full sized fridge. The breakfast area was spacious and inviting and the breakfasts tasty. I enjoyed using the fitness room as well. The pool is a little small. I also think they need to hire more cleaning staff as my room wasn't cleaned until quite late. Great location close to restaurants, shopping and the 401.

From the moment we arrived at Homewood Suites Ajax until checkout, it was evident that we were being cared for by a high-performance hospitality team. Spotless facilities, super friendly personnel and a surprise complementary light supper wow'd my travel companions. We treated ourselves to the two bedroom suite and fhe girls are still talking about how comfortable we were. A word of advice to light sleepers, rememver that you are right beside Canada's busiest freeway, the 401, so earplugs or a whitenoise machine will guarantee peace and quiet. The next morning, you will be treated to a great complementary breakfast. The pool and fitness facilities were awesome. We're going back!
Room tip: The highway is busy 24 hours a day so bring along ear plugs or a whitenoise machine to guarantee a good nights sleep.

We got in on a Thursday and needed to stay 2 nights. They were booked to capacity and did not have availability on Friday night due to a Ringuette/Hockey tournament. We finally were able to stay due to a cancellation.
Unfortunately, there was constant running/screaming in the hallway all day and well into the evening, it finally calmed down around 10pm. Although very annoying, there is not much the hotel staff can do.
I got up early on Saturday to beat the kids to the gym and the pool, with success! We then went to the lobby for breakfast with 1/2 hour to spare before the end of service.
We filled our plates with eggs, potatoes, turkey sausage, fresh fruit salad, yogourt and croissants.
We took our time to eat and the staff were about to remove the food, then Mirza, the awesome breakfast employee, came to our table to offer us the last croissants. We were pleasantly surprised and accepted them. At 10h15, kids came to eat, and found no food since the service ended at 10.
Mirza took the time to go on the kitchen and came back with a plate of food. He did not have to do that. How awesome is this guy? I even saw him finding the "owner" of a forgotten waffle. Mirza is there every meal with a great smile and awesome service.

The service is out of this world. The staff are all friendly and always smiling and very nice to everyone. This hoetl is on a dead end road. I did notice road noise during the day but it did not bother me when it was time to sleep. Kelly always had great recommendations for places to eat, I told her what I wanted and she made excellent suggestions.

I had a one bedroom suite and was able to check in early. Excellent breakfast and service. The nicest fitness room that I have seen at a Homewood. The room was clean and it was nice to spread out. I will stay here again.
