Got to this place in Ajax. We parked on the street, it was a weekend, it was allowed.

Did a lot of walking, it's a huge park. It was clean and well-maintained.

There were pictures and flags to remind people what the roles of the veterans on Canadian history. It was an educational park that honours and recognize what the veterans sacrificed and their victory.

Nice place to walk and catch the sun!

Such a wonderful tribute to our men and women who risk their lives for our freedom. Loads of history in regards to our town and residents. Special acknowledgement to the beautiful arrangements of flowers.

A gorgeous and humbling recollection of the times and the honoring of those who fought for us during WWII. I am proud of all who does take the time to remember and not just on Remembrance Day. Great family trip and educational spot you may wish to take our future citizens. The grassy area of to the left is perfect for flying kites and leads to other waterfront marvels

It used to be a nice place to go but now it's littered with Pokemon zombies. Very disrespectful with trash everywhere

As others have said this is a memorial for world war 2 veterans. There are plaques to read on the war history and the town of Ajax. The gardens are very pretty and well maintained and seating in the gardens and over looking the lake. There are both walking and bike paths. After walking here I always think that Ajax is one of the most beautiful spots in the world. Friends are always in awe when they visit the area. The town of Ajax does an excellent job of looking after the gardens in the area.
