This veterans tribute is worth a bit of a detour off the waterfront trail. Easy to read signage. I liked the fact the structure actually looked like a ship. Parking is a small walk away (washrooms at the parking lot).

A great tribute to our veterans and a small way to thank our vets for their sacrifice. A must see in Ajax.

A wonderful tribute to the veterans that saved our freedom. Directly on shore of Lake Ontario. See a little history why Ajax is named after The Ajax battleship. Wonderful walkways and bike trail along the shore and not to busy.

The park is a nice stop on the waterfront trail where you can read about the history of Ajax and how it was established. Washrooms are nearby.

Parking on the street only. Historical monument and plaques to read. Walking / biking trail. Relax to the sound of the waves or enjoy the many birds around.
