I spent 2 nights at the inn and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The owners were warm and welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious, my room was spacious and charming, and the porches and gardens were wonderful places to relax with a book or a glass of wine. I will definitely stay here again.

The hosts at the Pecan Tree Inn went above and beyond to make our whole wedding weekend and the ceremony itself incredibly lovely. We all stayed at the Inn and had the ceremony in the backyard. It was like a fairy tale with butterflies and birds joining us. The hosts helped us find a musician and florist, and put together fabulous hors d'oeuvres for our celebration. Our rooms were wonderful and breakfast was fantastic. Many thanks!

The Pecan Tree Inn has been around since 1991-1992. We stayed there sometime in the 90s and loved it. Went back this past weekend (Oct 2016) and stayed there under is third owners. Everything was as it should have been. The owners are friendly but not intrusive. They have plenty of private and semi-private places to eat and lounge, so if you are leery of B&Bs because you don't want to spend your weekend in forced conversation with strangers, you don't have to. The house is large, with multiple balconies and porches and outdoor lounging area. The food was great. The Inn is not elegant; it's nice. It's well-kept. Could not be more conveniently located for getting out and about in the village without resorting to the car. Convenient off-street parking.

Room tip: the website is easy to use and describes room choices well

Lovely setting, wonderful hosts and outstanding breakfasts. My husband and I stayed 4 nights and it's the most relaxed I've seen him in years!
Beaufort is a small town perfect for walking or cycling. And the sunsets are amazing.
Thank you Stan and Christine for welcoming us into your home.

Stayed four nights. The inn was excellent overall. Great room, great food and owners Stan and Christine were a great host. Breakfast was excellent every morning with snacks in the afternoon. A great location, less than a block to main street. We will definitely stay at the Pecan Tree Inn on our next visit to Beaufort.
