The Pecan Tree Inn has been around since 1991-1992. We stayed there sometime in the 90s and loved it. Went back this past weekend (Oct 2016) and stayed there under is third owners. Everything was as it should have been. The owners are friendly but not intrusive. They have plenty of private and semi-private places to eat and lounge, so if you are leery of B&Bs because you don't want to spend your weekend in forced conversation with strangers, you don't have to. The house is large, with multiple balconies and porches and outdoor lounging area. The food was great. The Inn is not elegant; it's nice. It's well-kept. Could not be more conveniently located for getting out and about in the village without resorting to the car. Convenient off-street parking.
