What could be better then soaking in natural mineral springs while gazing at the Rio Grande? I've traveled the world looking for the perfect hot springs and it is right here in New Mexico. The location is superb and the accommodations excellent. We stayed in the two bedroom Casita which is ideal if you need a bit more room and a full service kitchen to prepare meals. There is no restaurant at Riverbend. There are ten private soaking rooms for an additional charge. The springs are the most lovely in the evening when the lights come on over the river. There is an unobstructed view of the sky dotted with stars. I can't imagine a better place. Excellent restaurants and cute throw back shops are an easy walk away. Book well in advance.

Room tip: Casitas or suites for more space.

This was our second trip to Riverbend. TorC has many hot springs but none offer the natural setting of the Riverbend. The staff is friendly and sees to any requests. The grounds are relaxing. The fairy lights at night are whimsical. Its a delight to sit in a tub look out across the river at the mountain or watch a water bird diving for their dinner.

Wonderful getaway...our stay was just what we were looking for...quiet, low key, relaxing...the staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in the triple suite...with 7 people. Worked out great and kitchen was well supplied with all we needed...except food! The pools were relaxing and so clean...loved the whisper zone as it added to the relaxing experience. Riverbend is beautiful during the day and at night it is gorgeous with the lights along the river.

This gorgeous out-of-the-way stop is a must-see! We soaked both in the evening and in the morning. The pools at night are simply magical.....laser lights, shining across the Rio Grande River look like fireflies .It was unbelievably relaxing! The pools in the morning were just as relaxing, but a different experience. It was a bright, warm, and sunny morning. It was very serene. We sipped coffee by the river (with refills delivered in a little basket by their staff!). If any place can bring you peace from the "outside in", Riverbend Hot Springs is the spot! Loved it!

Room tip: The rv park was very reasonable

It really doesn't get much better than sitting in a hot pool along the Rio Grande with Turtleback Mountain in distance and the big night sky above. Even the public pools have an intimate feel about them; the mood that the resort maintains is quiet, laid back and even meditative. I stayed in one of the artist rooms - the room was comfortable, a very good value and the artwork adorning it was very nicely down. Location is also very convenient - easy walking distance to shops. Next time I return to TorC, I will definitely stay at Riverbend!
