The food was pretty good and the view was great. We stopped in before the puffin tour and grabbed a quite bite to eat.

Every year, we go to Pemaquid Point in Maine for hubby's birthday, and go to Shaw's in New Harbor to have an excellent lobster dinner on their deck. Gorgeous view and we love watching the lobster boats coming and going. We've done this for about 30 years, at least. It is an annual treat.
We ate dinner there after our Puffin Tour. I had lobsters, which were pretty tasteless, wasn't sweet at all. If you want to order a larger lobster you can not order in the restaraunt, you have to go downstairs to do so. I decided not to go downstairs and had a twin small lobster dinner. My husband had the broiled Haddock dinner and is was nothing special.
Had lunch here the food was good and views were very nice from the outside deck. It was 90 deg. Outside so we ate inside out of The direct sun light. Was still a little warm inside because there is no A/C only overhead fans the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food is fresh and well prepared. The cove view might produce lobster boats coming or going...or watching a pair of playful seals. It's real Maine at its best. The crab sandwich is delicious.
