We stayed on the 21st floor and our room was small but nice. The king bed was higher on one side than the other which was odd but it slept ok. Our view was awesome and we enjoyed renting chairs and an umbrella to sit right near the water. The elevators are so slow but this is a large hotel. Overall a nice stay.

Thank you for your recent stay with us.
We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. July is a very popular month so there can be small waits on elevators during peak times.
We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Thank you again for your valuable feedback.

My family and I are wrapping up our final day at the Majestic Beach Towers. I'm extremely impressed with the beach and the friendly staff. We were on the second floor and had an amazing view. It was everything we could have wanted for our trip and I really hope we can come visit again.

(Also--you can rent chairs/umbrellas on site but you can save a bit of cash by bringing your own)

Overall the experience wasn't good at all! Yuck!!! There was what appeared to be feces on the bathroom cabinet in the 2nd master and the shower didn't drain, we called right away after arrival - 3 hours later the shower still had standing water. Luckily I could use the kids bathroom for a shower. No one ever came to fix it so 2 days later we bought a plunger to fix it and sprayed everything down with bleach. The unit we rented is 1102 which is for 13 people. We had enough towels for 5 people. Mold on the shower curtain - probably from the constant standing water. Then when I used the kids shower also saw mold all over their shower curtain too. It's one thing for things to look old - it's another thing for things to be unsanitary - this is filthy. Walking through the property such as lobby areas - they could use a good cleaning or just wipe the doors off that look like no one ever cleaned them. Elevators are so dirty too - someone dropped about 40 packets of Taco Bell sauces on the wet floor and the following day, they were still there. Trash all outside along the beach - it just doesn't appear anyone knows how to clean the units or the property. On top of all the grossness there was an average wait time of 20 minutes every time you needed the elevator. Check in was a mess because of this - they need to stagger check-in times. There is nothing luxury about this property at all other than the price you pay - it was a huge ripoff!

I am sorry you had so many issues during your stay.
It looks as you rented from an owner or another management company.
I represent the onsite management company so I cannot speak on behalf of the unit you were in or on their maintenance.
We have onsite property housekeeping that clean the lobby's and restrooms several times a day and if reported they can clean up any accidental spills or messes.
Check in time begins typically at 4pm, so it will be very busy during check in and check out times.
We sincerely hope you decide to give Majestic Beach Resort another try.
Thank you for your feedback.

Ok, horrible experience, no information to parking which is across the street, vomit on the side of one of the toilets, only 4 towels in whole place, gross looking white and red stains on pillow cases (went out and bought some), comforter has huge whole and what appears to be urine stains, kitchen light won't stop flickering, and no body on call downstairs, YOYO.
I won't be back. I've had much cleaner rooms in Motel 6s, never had a problem like this. And we paid how much for this dump???

Hello Richard, our apologies for the bad experience you encounted during your stay here at the Majestic. If you booked through Resort Collections Property Management we do offer 24 hour assistance. If you however went through a different management company they unfortunately do not offer hourly assistance and Resort Collections is not authorized to enter properties that are not on our program. We can however offer assistance such as providing other guests of the Majestic with maps in order to assist with parking and directions.

Again our apologies for your bad experience.

ok, we have been to Destin, Fort Walton beaches, so we tried Panama City beach this time. bad choice.I will try to summarize it in numbers.
1. Majestic Beach Resort is huge. 2 towers to be exact. and they have Only 1 Elevator each tower. we got assigned in 4th floor, the loading and unloading area is in 3rd level of d garage that is connected by a walk bridge, you jave to leave an ID for you to use a trolley cart for your stuff to carry to your room. the wait time just to be in d next floor level is no less then 20mins. Your guess is good as mine..
2. This is not an exclusive resort. it has a public beach access. by noon time its too crowded already.
3. We got a 1 bedroom with bunk beds.its okay though, little outdated furnitures. cleanliness is ok.
4. Upon check in, they gave rubber wrist bands for you to wear while in d resort. nobody check it. BUT if you lose it, they charge you $25. a piece.
5. Upon check out, i was almost charge with all.those wristbands coz they look up a different room number and check it out not us. Had not i check d receipts, ill be $120 short!
So. asking if im coming back in Panama city beach. Nah. ill go back to destin in heartbeat. Sorry to mother nature but d beach has seaweeds, its not as clean as Destin area beaches. it was also raining a couple of days when we where there and i think d resort drain goes to the beach itself.

Hello Reyagz12,

Thank you for taking the time to answer.

We're sorry the experience you had during your stay with the pool tags and the elevators. The pool tags are given to identify the Majestic guests, unfortunately we do charge twenty dollars if they are not returned upon departure. And our sincere apologies if the guest services agent pulled up the wrong unit, it's always good to verify the information by the guests' name as well.
We have made Homeowners' Association aware of the issues with the elevators. Sometimes they are a little slow during times with there is an escalation in the number of reservations so we try to direct our guests to the other elevators located in each tower depending on where they are staying.

Again our apologies for experiences you had during your stay with us.

Sincerely,

Majestic Resort Collection Management
