Lots of good things to say about this hotel! My boyfriend and I stayed at the sensi for 4 nights last week, we arrived on an earlyish ferry from Koh Samui and it was great that our room was already ready for us! Each of the rooms are little bungalows that stand alone, each with a large balcony area, ours was towards the back end of the resort about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The rooms have a lovely traditional Thai feel to them and the resort is very much focussed on nature and being environmental (Koh Tao is only a small island so this is really important). Good things: Beautiful resort with lots of trees and plants. Lovely pool. Nice little beach right by the restaurant. Restaurant is really tasty and such a beautiful setting to have a meal! Breakfast was great, lots of selection. Helpful and friendly staff. Hotel provides beach towels and bath towels. Quiet location at the end of maehad beach. Not so good things: Rooms are not bug proof as no glass in the windows in the bathroom and gaps in the floor and walls- bed had a mozzie net but this did not keep them out. Mozzies eat me alive so not ideal but if bugs don't bite you then won't be too much of an issue! The bay acts as a natural amphitheatre and as the bungalow walls are just wood...More
