Friendly family hotel
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed May 1, 2017
Stayed here in April 2017. We're a family of 5 and we had 2 adjacent rooms. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable with good wifi. The hotel is set on a more-or-less private beach, with a supervised swimming area - there are some fish and a resident clown fish family, though there is better snorkelling elsewhere on the island (yonehara beach). There is a smallish pool complex and sunloungers on pool deck, grass and beach. You can hire anything you need for the sea. The hotel has a small convenience store and a gift shop. We only ate in the buffet style restaurant, which seemed a little pricey to us for what it was, but probably actually not that expensive relative to other tourist restaurants, and there was something there to suit everyone, my only gripe would be the price of drinks which aren't included, but on our 2nd visit they gave us a free drink which was nice. They cater for children and babies very well with plenty of food options, chairs, play areas etc. All the staff were very friendly and did their best with helping us book tours etc as we had no japanese. The breakfast buffet has many options so everyone was happy there. The island has a similar vibe to Hawaii, though you get much more at this hotel then you would there, and its much more chilled and less crowded. Overall i would go back in a heartbeat.

Great place to stay with kids. We were with our 1,8 y.o. girl. All services and facilities for kind are exist and include in a price: for pool and sand toys, extension for toilets, apron, dinnerware, etc. You don't need to bring anything with you, its a very big plus!
Great service!!!

Room tip: Choose a sea view room in first raw house or on the 3rd floor in a building

Cute resort on a great beach. Yummy restaurants, friendly staff, and nice facilities all around. We originally intended to rent a car (make sure to get an international drivers license if you do) but we ended up just taking taxis and a tour bus to visit the tourist sites nearby, and used the free hotel shuttle bus to the airport on our way back to Tokyo.

My family and I stayed for 5 days. Hotel staff were very helpful and can communicate in English.

Room is spacious and can fit a family of four.

Hotel staff were helpful as we needed to reserve a Japanese restaurant in the town.

Fusaki beach in 5 mins walk, and great view.

Room tip: Family and children friendly

The Fusaki Resort is a nice place to stay while on vacation with a good price. You can get your own bungalow or stay in the modern building of the hotel. The ocean view rooms are nice. They have excellent service with a good staff. They have a full breakfast buffet.

We (family with three children) stayed in a Superior Garden Terrace. The room was quiet spacious and modern. Shower and everything was perfect. Aircondition worked great.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and there were some employees who spoke English very well. While others tried their best.

The breakfast buffet was very nice and had a good choice of asian and western food.

The restaurants at the resort were ok, had a good choice but were rather expensive.

The beach and the pool area were clean and beautiful. Also the situation of the resort was good. Close to some sight-seeing spots aswell as Ishigaki City with loads of restaurants and shops (touristy and food).
