My husband and I LOVED this hotel. The staff was welcoming, the rooms were immaculate, and the free breakfast was delicious. The only issue we had was our bathroom lights were not working. We notified the front desk and they were fixed within 24 hours. Given everything else was 5 stars, the lights were the least of our worries and we would definitely stay here again. This place has only 14 rooms, so the Alma treats every guest like royalty. Stay here -- you won't regret it. I already miss this place. We will be back again!

Room tip: Room with a balcony is worth it.

PROS
Location: Near great restaurants and shopping.
Check in staff: Helpful and friendly; very accommodating.
Room: Clean; spacious; down comforter with down pillows; King bed; Nespresso machine; great hair dryer; safe; minibar;complementary bottle of water upon arrival with 4 small delicious cookies.
Bathroom: large bathroom; lovely large towels; bathrobes; good products in bathroom; good water pressure in bathroom; a lot of natural light.
Included Breakfast: Very tasty; plentiful; great coffee; good salad; wonderful yogurt with granola
Rooftop: cute with nice seating area
Parking lot: 1.5 blocks away
Price of room: reasonable
Has a lift.

CONS
Bed: Very uncomfortable. Woke up with backache each day. (This is the reason we will not return.)
Room: Dark; Needs option for more lighting.
Tub/shower-was narrow and water did not drain properly
Hallway: Stairwell to the rooms feels like an old apartment building. Desperately needs cool artwork to freshen/liven it up and make it feel like a hotel.
Goth feel - but not refined.
Parking: extra fee
Breakfast service: Spotty service; no room service.
Minuscule reception desk/area

OVERALL: Cute boutique hotel in a great location. Not a refined boutique hotel but they try by providing lots of small items such as a great hair dryer and tasty cookies. The uncomfortable bed was a deal breaker for us. They need to replace the bed and also put in better lighting. This hotel could really be stellar if they hired a professional consultant to work out all of their kinks. Hotel is suited to young couples.

This is a great little boutique hotel.
I had a suite and I liked it very much.
The atmosphere in the hotel is more of a little apartment building then a hotel. But again it is a great little hotel. Would definitely enjoy it again.

A very special hotel, hotels and room decorations are outstanding.
VERY nice Staff.
Excellent location right in the middle of Tel-Aviv, BUT it is not a quite location
Very recommended!
The only thing missing is a nice reception area / lobby.

Dear suny_11 ,

Thank you for taking the time to review and share your experience in our hotel
! As you have mentioned - we are located in the very heart of Tel Aviv , which is very vibrant and lively.Regarding our public areas - we are constantly trying to make the best use of the limited space we have ( after all our building is a preserved one ) , but still leave it intimate and warm.
We hope to see you again soon!

A quirky hotel in the heart of Tel Aviv. Great rooms in muted tones good bathrooms and a super comfy bed. Fabulous staff looked after our group marvelously. We arrived late and they were only to happy to extend their restaurant hours and produce a fabulous meal for us. A cosy and open roof top bar is a great way to start your night before dinner, quiet drinks in great atmosphere. Breakfast varied and top quality and served by very obliging and friendly staff. Best place to stay.
