Good food. Good service friendly efficient staff who were there but not intrusive. Cosy candlelight setting. Generous delicious portions.

This place has to be experienced and enjoyed. The warm cosy atmosphere to the super friendly staff and most importantly the food. There is one serious chef in that kitchen that is cooking up some serious American influenced food. Prices are more than reasonable and you could spend long periods of time just sampling there menu.

We visit The Three Crowns regularly as a group for its central location and good food. Last night the food was just as delicious as always, but here I must apologise to the young waitress. I'm sorry we were just a bunch of middle aged women who did not meet with your approval. I am extremely regretful that you felt you needed to scowl and sigh each time you deigned to deliver the food and the one round of drinks you bothered to take an order for. New venue for next gathering?

OK, I've been here before for steaks - and the steaks are awesome, but now they have this truly excellent burger. And when you order it with the fried mac'n'cheese...you take it to a whole 'nother level. I don't know what their new chef is putting in the burger, but I lost my tiny mind eating it - the sauce! the pattie! the brioche bun! the size of the thing! ....and let's not forget the perfectly cooked fries with that......I nearly had to be rolled out of the place, I was so full.

This is a pub. It's a really good pub. The staff are friendly, the service is casual but prompt and the décor is...well it's a pub. It's warm and cozy in winter, with a nice outdoor space in summer.
There are enough local and imported beers to keep the discerning brew-snob happy and they the usual suspects on tap.

If you like your burgers tasty and massive (did I mention they let you order extra patties??) then The Three Crowns will be one of your favourite places to visit!
