It is about 25mins walk from Gran Via. Once you get there you will have to knock the door and wait for 2 mins. It is a family owned, actually it is an old couple who runs and serves. There is no menu it is set menu consists of

Starters
(Chorizo, mixed vegetables with fried egg on top, cooked for a long time if looked like)
Main (mash potato mixed with fish, lamb paste, some kind of bird cooked with chocolate and deep fried fish with cooked mixed vegetables)
Dessert
(Cheese, Creme Brûlée, profiteroles)

Dessert spirits (3 different kind)
The husband (Santa Clause lookalike) explained everything in Spanish which I could not understand but the effort he made was quite cute. Nothing like this 5 star posh restaurant but the food was cooked with love and tradition. This little small restaurant will surprise you with food that you would die for. It is one of those place that you have to visit and experience. A bottle of wine 🍷 starter, main, dessert 🧁 3 different Spirits all included €40 per person but I booked on the fork 30% off. One thing to warn is that it is a lot of food so you may want to have a very little light breakfast or lunch. We went there for lunch. My explanation of foods may not be 100 % correct but you can go, taste and find out. A must go ! Seriously amazing experience.

Visired as late lunch for me and my wife. Very gentle couple have welcomed us. They couldn't speak English at all, but eagerly talked to us to explain the dishes, which was all pleasant.

There was only one course, 6 dishes with red wine, that was eventually 7 dishes, 3 sweets, 3 spirits and abundant red wine. Fee for it was 40 euros per person, but we could get 30% discount thanks to TripAdvisor.

Among the dishes, we especially liked chorizo, gazpacho, poteto & cod postage, and quail stewed with chocolate. All in unassuming style, but were tastful enough. Fully enjoyed two-hour lunch and we were really full and satisfied.

If you are in Madrid, you must visit this restaurant. Typic Spanish comida, with so famous Spanish beer.. The service was fast and the location really incredible... Amazing! Everything was perfect and jamon was incredibly taste .. The dessert of strawberries was unbelievable, so fresh and delicious.. I promised to myself I'll go back there soon.

Amazing meal, friendly and very welcoming. Worked hard to ensure we knew what we were eating (we have very little Spanish). Lots of superb food. A really lovely atmosphere. Sit back and enjoy the experience. I think we had 10 plates in our meal and it's hard to single one out - all great, and all different. Several fish and quail dishes. Highly recommended.

This was a wonderful experience! We were welcomed by the couple who run the restaurant, who treated us like family, even though we didn't speak any Spanish. The dishes are from La Mancha area in Spain, and they were brought to our table one after the other, until we could not breathe.. Very tasty and without a lot of oil or flour, just traditional simple good food.
