Arrived early, but hotel happy to store our luggage. Returned a few hours later, given room key. Pleasantly surprised by the room. Fairly compact but enough space for a couple of nights. Very clean and comfy....shocking view of the wall from the window lol. Bottled water, fresh fruit, biccies, tea & coffee all supplied. Told by reception that we just needed to ask if we needed any more supplies. Bathroom clean, nice strong shower....poor towels though. Good free wifi in room. Location great, 2 mins in to city centre. Overall good value for money.

Dont get a room over looking the street. Window are sealed so no fresh air (contravenes Building Regulations). Complained about the noise from the nightclub opposite & was offered earplugs. Enough said.

This hotel has provided me with my worst experience to date. I needed one night in Salisbury with a good night's sleep. I had Room 7 at the front of the hotel which is opposite a night club. The website states there are bars near to the hotel but has excellent double glazing. Don't believe it! The queues of noisy and excited youths trail along the pavement - the only thing noisier is the thump thumping of the never-ending bass music. The presence of the police provided a highlight up until midnight when the queues started to diminish as they entered the nightclub. The noise continued until mid-morning hours when the club closed. Noises changed to taxis coming and going and merry individuals shouting down the street for attention to anyone who wanted to hear or, in my case, didn't want to hear. I received no warning of this problem when booking nor on arrival. I'm afraid it was the worst night's sleep ever in a hotel and would not recommend it to anyone unless they would wish to spend most of their time at the nightclub.

Room tip: Don't have one at the front
