Myself and my friend stopped off for lunch here. We sat out in the garden area which was a little sun trap and nice and clean. The food was great, service was a little slow but the staff were very polite. Will definitely return!

A group of 20 of us went on a Wednesday for afternoon tea. The teas were delicious and the food was brilliant. Sandwiches were all fresh with soft bread and tasty fillings. Scones were fresh and still warm!
Macaroons were very nice with homemade lemon curd centre. £12.50 pp wasn't bad for what we got. Everyone had more than enough food and drink.
The building and setting were lovely and the start couldn't have been more helpful. Will definitley consider going again

Service was very friendly and prompt.
Unfortunately the scones were dry/stale and the afternoon tea itself was not as good value for money as other places nearby such as the Lincoln Hotel or further down the hill Patisserie Valerie.

Sunday lunch with family

Intense flavours from start to finish. Obviously good quality ingredients.

Starters were enjoyed by all, generous servings. Highlight was the confit of duck with Asian slaw

Mains were good with a nice variety of veg. All very well cooked.

Only downside was that all found the food to be saltier than ideal.

Friendly and attentive staff in a nice room

Excellent food, lovely staff, busy but not too loud. Not too expensive considering the quality of the food.Interesting menu choices on a fairly small menu but prefer that to a large choice of mediocre food.
