Interesting and fun experience. It's a great way to discover a lot of interesting places of Havana's history and architecture. Very nice experience.
Isbel began our walking tour through old Havana, enlightening us to the deep rooted history of Cuba ,Havana ,and its culture. We were amazed at the age old architecture and the unique engineering of the infrastructure of the time. We transitioned from a walking tour to the early 50's in pristine vintage cars that transported us to the hub of government and some local neighborhoods. If you are in Havana you can't miss with Blexie tours. Be sure to ask for Isbel and Sydielid.
I used Cuban Trip Compass for a private day tour of Havana and they were EXCELLENT!! I was in communication with Alejandro before the booking and his replies were prompt and very detailed -- good English, too. We were picked up from our hotel at EXACTLY 8:30 (the time specified beforehand as one of my pet peeves is waiting for a big bus full of other tourists to arrive) in a 1956 Chevy Bel Air -- what fun!! Our tour guide, Adita, was AMAZING!! She was very thorough, but didn't crowd us. She gave us lots of time for photos, souvenir shopping, and site seeing. She took us to an authentic Cuban restaurant for lunch which was delicious and reasonably priced. Havana was an amazing city -- so much to see and so much history. Adita filled us in on so much history and some of the difficulties currently experienced in her beautiful country. All this information was very interesting. Our driver (sorry, can't remember his name) was awesome, too. The two of them made for a very memorable experience and I would book Cuban Trip Compass again in a heart beat -- no hesitation whatsoever.
Havana Journeys was amazing! Our tour guide Miguel was very knowledgeable about the history of Havana. He made the trip an experience of a lifetime! I would recommend using him as a tour guide to anyone.
While in Havana we booked the car tour with the rep in the hotel and wow we were not disappointed with the day. We got picked up from the hotel by Yohannas (Driver) and Christina (tour guide) both were superb showing us around in the car and talking about the history of Cuba and Havana. Their knowledge was incredible. The the drive around Havana Christina then walked us around the squares. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone that visits this city.
Our group of three couples toured with Blexie on March 27th. From beginning to end I cannot say enough good things about Blexie. Booking was easy with a few emails back and forth about a month prior to our arrival. Blexie with very flexible waiting for us even though our cruise ship disembarked later than planned and got us a van (with AC) so we could all tour together. We were also given the option of two separate classic cars. He customize our tour to do the things we wanted and showed us some places I'm sure the larger tour groups do not typically see. We spent about 7 hours together and saw Old Havana, Downtown Havana, Fusterlandia, a drive through the countryside to see Finca Vigia (Hemingway's House) and to the suburbs to see the Embassy houses. We also stopped a a paladar for lunch which we asked Blexie to choose for us. Although we asked him and the driver to join us to eat they politely declined. The whole day's tour with a 20% tip (lunch not included) cost each person $40 CUC- what a bargain! Blexie was so friendly and knowledgeable and his English was excellent. I regret that we didn't bring him a Red Sox souvenir since he is a big fan of US sports especially baseball.
