We really enjoyed our night out to Michael’s! The portions were crazy big and we loved the warm family atmosphere.

Had a fantastic Fish & Chip supper that never disappoints, Michael puts his heart into every meal that delivers every time. The portions are huge & can feed more than one at a super saving price. Best food in Muskoka and so worth the stop!...Gotta have the Sticky Toffee Pudding for sure.More
Dropped by for lunch before going home after a fun mini vacation on Lake Bernard. Great patio, lovely wait staff and scumptious food! And plenty of it. We were both just so happy with our experience ! 😘💜
We were delighted to find this family owned and run restaurant in downtown Sundridge, while staying at a local resort for 5 days. The portions were large, service fast and friendly on the patio and the prices spot on. The menu was extremely varied and...appeared to cater to most people's tastes. Coping with the pandemic very well! All told, a very worthwhile restaurant to frequent, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner!More
Nice staff and atmosphere we had the rib wing special which was very good and lots to eat, also one Indian curry as well which again didn’t disappoint . The price was good, definitely one of the better restaurants in the area
We rented a cottage in the area and decided to go into town for lunch and heard Michaels was good. They were right. I wouldn’t elevate it to fine dining, but the staff were well trained and highly professional. Main room is a bit tight...but I found the decor charming. All the lunch options are a one in price including soup, salad, and drink. I was a bit wary because the soup/salad part is self serve but somehow that made it more charming. The fact that the salad choices were fresh and delicious and the soup was clearly made in house and very enjoyable helped me finding it charming. I had fish and chips which I later heard was the go to item for a lot of locals. Now I didn’t ask questions first but I should have. While I found the chips, batter, and fish were good; it was a too heavy and greasy for my tastes. Portions are very generous. My SO had a club and really enjoyed. Portions again very generous. Lunch for two was 33 before tip. If we find ourselves in area again we will for sure come back to Michaels.More
Michael's on Main is a pub like feel with family friendly service (family ownes and runs it) and huge portions of excellent food. We enjoyed the house made fish and chips that was lightly battered and the beef sandwich. All the entrays include soup and...salad bar. The soups are house made and if you have a chance have the thai soup (excellent). To finish you must try the sticky toffee pudding....wow...roll me out of the restaurant but so worth it! Reservations aren't always necessary but you may want to call ahead on weekends, just to make sure you aren't disappointed. Enjoy!More
Most times you will want to phone for a reservation because the restaurant is small. Great food and salad bar
Had lunch here. Lunch menu is $14.99 that comes with about 12 different choices. The ones my party had were all unbelievably large. Very tasty food. PLUS included is salad bar AND...nor OR, but AND choice of two soups...mine was excellent...PLUS, fresh bread. And to...top it off, price includes pop, tea or coffee but my party was never asked if we wanted a drink other than the water that comes in nice bottles on the tables...not a big deal really. Note although there at lunch, the dinner specials were on the board...looked great with obviously priime rib playing center stage...can't speak to portions or anything else but prices were in the $30 range.More
We ate here for the first time tonight, and we were so happy we did! The food was lovely and plentiful, the service was great (our server, Brytan was a real sweetie) and the atmosphere felt comfortable and welcoming. My husband was starving when we...showed up and was thrilled about the soup/salad bar that was included and ready to go as soon as we sat down. Our 5 year old helped herself to 4 bowls of the cream of chicken soup and happily scarfed down her grilled cheese sandwich which was fabulous for a kids item! My husband had staple English prime rib and giant Yorkshire pudding and I sampled the curries with the butter chicken, both were lovely. The portions were large and the price was great. We will definitely return!More
Set in a building that served as a former bank, the surroundings are solid and pleasant. The menu has an excellent selection. Our weekday special included more than we could eat and we needed to take our desert with us. The service was prompt and...polite, the food delicious and well portioned. This restaurant makes Sundridge a must go destination.More
We stumbled upon this little gem by accident...and I am so glad we did...I had to go back as soon as I could and I will go back as many times as possible. The food is outstanding...and it includes the salad bar and soup...the chef...is outstanding..another gem. The service is great...so many little touches have made this one of my favorite places to eat. They got it completely right at this place. You gotta eat Here!!! Go out of your way if you have to, it will be totally worth it!!!More
Stopped for lunch at the location on the main street on our way to North Bay Nordic. Nice waiter, excellent service. Nutritious and delicious soup, salad bar and full size entree with beverage all included for 14.99 We look forward to returning!
We celebrated our Wedding Anniversary in this restaurant as we were spending a snowmobile week end around Sundridge, it was a great choice, food was excellent, service very good, we had a good time discussing with the English owner... I had an Indian dish and...it was just excellent (I know what i'm talking about as I spent 3 years in India)- I recommendMore
