Terrasse is nice, menu seemed good too but the food is sooooo average. I had the steak Salad the steak was extremely hard and the avocado too... not good at all!
The best restaurant that I would recommend to all kind of people. With a large menu and different foods that are cocked and served from a professional service. Really high class and best prices that you can not find. Satisfied! The Best one!
While holidaying with family across the boarder in Switzerland we visited Schutzengarten a number of times. Very good food and excellent staff, a comprehensive menu card and they normally have good lunch specials. Defiantly worth a visit.

One of the best restaurant so far in Bad Säckingen. Recommend to all tasty food lovers. Its always better to reserve first the table as going spontaneously there.
Nicely decored restaurant. The crowd started coming around 12.30pm to 1pm. Restaurant staff are not competent in English. I had to make best guesses on my order. Fortunately my guesses were right - exactly what I'd wanted. Surprisingly the restaurant did not accept credit card...so that limited my choice of order. I ordered a bowl of Aglio Olio pasta and a plate of fried calamari. They served a plate of thousand island dressing salad and a plate of two cut pita bread pieces. Bread was nice, salad was normal. The pasta and calamari were good. However, pasta was a bit oily. About 70% of my meal, I felt bored. Not sure if it was the food or maybe it was just me. I have not tried many of the restaurants here yet so I'll likely try other restaurants.More
