This Diner had great reviews, so we gave it a try. Wow we were so disappointed in the quality of the food. Purchased an appetizer and it was only half cooked. You would bite into it and the food was still frozen. Near the end...of our meal, we could see into the kitchen when the door was opened, and we witnessed one of the people preparing the food sneeze all over the prep area and wipe his hand across his nose and go right back to work. They also only had one server and she was having to run all over the place. I really felt bad for her.More

Passing through the area and love diners so I was excited to find this place. Food was delicious..scrambled eggs, sausage patties and wheat toast. As good as the food was, the atmosphere and service were excellent! Great conversation with my server, Malakai. He travels a...bit here and there too.More

Decent little diner that isn't too far from the airport and happened to be open on Sunday for us to get a meal before flying out. Reasonable food that wasn't overpriced.

Stopped here nearing the end of a road trip and the comfort food we enjoyed was on point! Ham/bean, veggie beef soup and chili were all very good. Chicken Caesar salad was fresh. Spinach artichoke dip lasted a whole 5 minutes at our table (with...3 teenagers)! Great service (thank you, Ken!) and an enjoyable time by all!More

We were staying at the Best Western Plus for two nights as we were heading up to Penn State. We needed a drink after a long ride. The bartender was so friendly. Who we thought was a patron just was a sweet and kind as...can be. We even felt that we were welcomed at first site. The food was great. The following night we decided after a long day at State College we decided to avoid the over crowded bars and return to Angie's. What a surprise to find our new friend Brian (the patron) was our waiter. OMG - he was absolutely awesome. He made us feel so at home. But but what surprised us even more was how delicious the food was. I couldn't decide. The menu is amazing and the food is just to die for. Please come here. Everyone is super friendly!!!! The food is amazing and the atmosphere is just what you want after a long day. Thank you to the entire staff who we met 11/19 - 11/20.More

I recently visited Angie's twice while staying at the Howard Johnson hotel up the street, which was not offering breakfast, due to Covid. I planned to go to the closer diner, but it looked very busy, and I decided to drive a bit further, to...try Angie's. I am glad I did, as I liked it so much the first day, I went again the next! I had the Angie's special, which came with breakfast potatoes, 2 eggs, bacon, sausage links, and two delicious pancakes! Everything tasted great. Service was fast, waitresses, especially on first day, were super friendly, called me hun, and I was visiting from Rhode Island, but felt like I was part of the local community, visiting here! Seems like they have many regulars and everyone seemed nice! I would definitely return again! Loved the retro diner decor, so neat! The food was a great value too!More

We ordered breakfast take-out. The French toast was the star of the show. Also had an egg sandwich and an omelette. Everyone in our family of four was happy...very reasonably priced too.

I decided to try this place out for breakfast. The place looks like it was once a vintage dine in the inside in the part that I sat for breakfast. There was probably 5 or 6 customers when I visited. I ordered the 2 eggs,homefries,toast...and chose the cormbeef hash and I also ordered coffee. With tax my bill was $8.51 and she refilled my coffee twice. She was very attentive and my breakfast came out quickly and they have good coffee.More

I should have entered the dining room door but entered the bar entrance. Once I was directed to the dining room and seated, it was very comfortable. A little older decor, but I was there for the food. It was great, and the man taking...care of the dining room was very nice. It was clean, and that and good food is what's important.More

I passed Angie's on my way to Capitol the night before and I should have stopped here. I walked in at it was literally no one in the diner...lol. I was a little skeptical about that at first...most good restaurants are always booming, but I...decided to stick it out. The waiter a sweet girl. Immediately took my order a recommended the meat loaf. If you want to judge any diner by one item...it's the Meatloaf..... And they did not disappoint! Two huge PC's. I could not finish it all. Green beans were actually fresh!!!! No can!. I was shocked. Mash was typical Mash.. nothing special. Hot food and good food. Will revisit when I'm back in town.More

This is a diner in every sense of the word. The inside decor is charming with black and torquise color scheme. The food is delicious and huge portions. We went here because it is within walking distance of the hotel that we were staying. We...were greeted by Dave who was very friendly but very busy. It was a Tuesday night and a steady stream of customers came in and most seemed regulars. We didn't try the dessert, we were actually too full, but they looked wonderful. I'm really sorry I didn't try the coconut cream or the baklava, I definitely recommend and I will return if I'm ever in the area.More

You walk in and this diner makes you feel like you stepped back in time but not in a necessarily pleasant way. The decor is old and tired, the guy behind the counter is taking orders and it oddly feels like he should have a...cigarette hanging from his lip (he doesn't but I could feel it) and food is coming out fast and furious. I seriously questioned my sanity for choosing this place. I looked at the menu and it was fairly extensive. In the end we ordered a chicken salad sandwich, burger, and meatball sub. My expectations were fairly low. Then to my surprise all of the food was great. Not 5-star great but like I'd made it at home and it all came out tasting really good. We were all perfectly satisfied with our meal and impressed. Service was good. Guy behind the counter also waited on tables and served the food. It was fairly busy and he really kept on top of it all. I was impressed. He looked grumpy but he was extremely kind and patient. Overall, we would come back again. I felt like I got a true American diner experience- not the glossed over version you find elsewhere.More

Stopped at Angie's as we stayed at the Best Western nearby. The food was food and the decor is really fun and interesting. We were traveling from Canada and the Staff (Dave & Christine) were really friendly and gave us a lot of helpful information...for traveling in the area. Daily specials on food and beer make this a great spot to spend a few hours. Highly recommended.More

We found this diner near our hotel in Harrisburg. We love that it looks like it is out of the 50s era. My husband had eggs over easy with toast which he said were very good and tasted like they were made with very good...butter. I had the taco salad with seasoned ground beef and I thought it was one of the freshest salads I have ever had. It had a mix of spinach, romaine, and spring mix lettuce along with green peppers, cucumbers, a lot of grape tomatoes, carrots and shredded cheese in a fried dough bread bowl. There was also a side of sour cream and salsa with it. The waitress seemed a little standoffish but she did a good job of checking up on us with coffee and to see how things were.More

We stopped here on our way home from camp because we didn't want to have to cook when we got home. The food was good and plentiful. No cooking or cleanup for is always a plus.
