I have been ordering from here for years and never had a problem. Always ordered my burger medium not too well done. Went in today and ordered my burger the same way I always did but I noticed he never relayed to the cook ....They call me up for my toppings and I tell her and y burger is still on the grill. I asked the girl to ask the cook to please take it off. She asks and he ignores. I waited a couple of minutes and ask again can he please take it off I don't want it too well done. She asks again and he ignores. Few minutes later he takes it off and says to me it needed a few more minutes. I said no I don't want it to well done he says we can't serve it raw I said I realize that it has to be an internal temperature of 165 but I don't want it burnt. Get it home and it's burnt on the bottom and hard as a rock. What a waste of $8.00.More

Great hamburger and fries were spectacular. Service was fast and friendly. Actually shared a laugh with the server. We had take out, phoned in and ready when I got there. Enjoyed the food and will go back again.

The burgers are perfection. Really hit the spot! Has that taste that you just can’t get making it at home. Had the poutine as well, was quite good.

Burgers are pretty good. I especially liked the hot dog with cheese and bacon. The weiner is split lengthwise (just like at A&W). Fries are especially nice.

One of the best pizza restaurant in Durham region. Cheese is amazing and the dough is fresh. Their wings are one the the best in town as well.

The burger and fries were "average" but what really annoyed me was when I asked for milk, chocolate milk or juice. The girl who took my order said "in my experience, other places don't; offer milk, chocolate milk or juice". Really ? Hmmmm ... Wendy's...and McDonald's across the street, Swiss Chalet, Pita Place, Great Canadian Bagel and EVERY OTHER fast (or slow) food restaurants do. AS a matter of fact IN MY EXPERIENCE, Retro Burger is the ONLY one that doesn't offer a healthier choice than water or "flavoured sugar&water" pop.More

I'm a regular and can't say enough positive things about this place. Fast service, friendly staff, very clean and excellent fast food.

Stopped in to get some burgers and fries for takeout. The food was very good. We found that the burgers were just a touch too salty for us. Having said that we devoured them. They were very good. Will be back there soon.

Great portions for a group of hungry guys! I had like a loaded taco fries... I can't remember what it's called but was really good! 8 guys for about $120. Not too shabby.

Food is great and atmosphere average. I enjoyed a chicken Souvlaki on naan bread and it was amazing. Price is a little on the expensive side but the quality of food is good.
