We visited on a Saturday night after noticing a very long line waiting to be seated. We presumed it must have been an amazing buffet, otherwise they would not be so busy and people wouldn't wait so long since there are other places to eat....After 30 minutes STANDING in line, we were finally seated. There wasn't as much of a variety as we thought once we realized one big section was desserts and another was Asian cuisine for made to order meals. The fish and chicken were overcooked and seafood and sides were not hot. For the price, we were disappointedMore

Horrible experience. Seated us way out almost to the salt and ivy Cafe section so we had to walk a long way to everything. Almost all of the containers were empty at the main area. The roast was so dry and tough I couldn't eat...it. None of my family were able to find anything that would make us want to come back. The fried chicken was decent but $30 is a lot for a piece of fried chicken. There is no flow to the area either. People literally run into each other all over the place. Used to be my favorite buffet before they "refreshed" it. Now I don't care to ever go back there.More

The quality of the buffet does not match the beauty of the Beau Rivage. Very disappointed, it used to be spot on. Cut the cost in half to match the quality

Pricey at $30/ person but some delicious choices on the buffet. There is a good variety of items to choose from. Some of it will remind you of Golden Coral while others are more gourmet finds like no other on ab buffet. The crab benedict...is awesome as is the Crawfish bisque. Add some of the yummy cheddar grits to it and it is heaven in a bowl.More

Went for Saturday Brunch. Absolute garbage for food. Carved ham was so dry and overcooked - looked like it had been re-warmed several times. NO MILK! What, wait a minute - there is no milk? Asked staff to get a glass of milk - they...laughed and said WE DONT HAVE ANY! Don't waste your money - not anywhere near what it used to be. Staff rude. Won't ever go back.More

We went for Christmas dinner buffet. We waited in line for 2 hrs, yes they were extremely busy, the line was that long all day long. We were seated in another restaurant that must have been lending some of their space for seating, anyways they...are both connected together, but it was weird! The buffet was a real let down, especially at 65 bucks a head, they advertised prime rib and crab legs, they were the smallest I have ever seen, overcooked, hardly any meat inside. The prime rib had no flavoring, it was tender though, the roast beef was greasy for some reason, the peel and eat shrimp were small, three soups and all of them spicy Louisiana style, hard to find the gravy for the mashed potatoes, you would think it would be at the same station, nope , it’s over at the carving station, never did find the butter. No good vegetables, fried Okra, no thanks. The buffet looks huge from a distance, but it’s not, they repeated the exact dishes on each side. The deserts were from a freezer, not fresh. Everything had some kind of chocolate in it, and some of us cannot have chocolate, thete were pies, but just three kinds, pumpkin, pecan and appeared to be sweet potato, all the tags to tell you what the food was were wrong, probably never taken down after breakfast. The food was a lot of creole type cuisine, This buffet has been going down hill for years, I thought that after the remodel it would be better, but it’s not.More

Very disappointed, EVERY thing was fried. The only veggies were corn and cabage. Had to go to the Mongolian bar for some green veggies to sauté. They did have about 6 types of potatoe dishes and about the same for rice. They used to have...some great grilled veggies. Whole place is about half the size it used to be. The royal reds were drowning in sauce but still had to peel to eat.More

The food was bland and tasted old and dry. The variety has depleted. The table made me nauseous while trying to eat because it smelled like old moldy water from the waitress using an old dirty rag to wipe it down.

The beau Buffet is usually hit or miss..our last visit in May was wonderful, this month not so good. The beef was tough and lacked flavor. Most entrees looked unappealing.

I believe because of the poor quality, bad reviews and limited cold crappy choices the cost is only $20 now. We were shocked. We used to pay $35.
