Smooth and delicious coffee. The best ice coffee I’ve had. All I needed was a little cream. No sweetener to make it taste better. Just so good on its own. Local gem!

Cozy little coffee shop with great muffins and coffee. Varied seating styles, room sectioned off for some privacy. The only issue was a rather limited selection of scones, but perhaps we should have come earlier in the day. Overall, a terrific experience.
We went especially for the delicious lemon cookies of the past. No lemon cookies. We tried a chocolate chip and a peanut butter cookie. Both were heavy and dry. Disappointed. Coffee average.
This spot opens early and has great options for breakfast.. the matcha tea is excellent and the banana chocolate chip muffin was my favorite! Must try!
Really good coffee. They do some unique blends. My wife got a special nitro brew and I had a blend with some chocolate and cinnamon and a touch of chili. Ask for some advice and they’ll hook you up with something that matches your taste.
It never ceases to amaze me how many of the baristas do not smile, say hi, or thank you (for one's patronage, including leaving a tip--which I will not do again). To me, service is just as important as the quality of the food/drink, if...not more so. I guess the (somewhat new) owners do not care, probably thinking that the out-of-towners are not use to friendly/good service and won't care, but I am a local, and I do know of other coffee shops that have much better service, though that would not be very difficult to have.More
The staff were pleasant. The pour over was over extracted- I get the sense that they don’t dial in their pour overs very well but I’m a coffee geek. The place is cozy and a nice little spot to take a break.
Everytime we're in the area we come here. Coffee is good, the owner can tell you stories. Lavendar lemonade is excellet!
Went there for early morning coffee. Long line almost caused us to go elsewhere, but stuck it out and enjoyed very good coffee and scone/muffin. The people watching is the best part from the sidewalk/porch seating. Staff was nice. Lot's of dogs and chatty people....Fun place.More
Espresso was good but the stasr of the show were the cookies, almond croissants , and ham and brie croissant. Servers were VERY pleasant
We stopped by for a quick bite and a coffee. The service was excellent, the food was good and the vibe is fun and welcoming.
Not only is their coffee shop awesome! Their bakery selection is off the charts! Hint- zucchini walnut muffin is delicious! Truly this is one of my favorite places. Thx Rob
Great coffee and awesome patio. The perfect place to sit in the shade and people watch. Relaxing and perfect.
My fiend and I had a fantastic experience the first time (mid-January) we visited Uncommon. The barista (attends Hope College) was super friendly and shared the story of the new owners of the coffee shop. She talked about the different roasts and took the time...to be kind. We left feeling welcomed and energized. The next visit (last weekend of February) left us feeling disgusted, negative, frustrated and like we were inconveniencing the baristas. Completely different. Negative energy, unwelcoming, pretentious. The two baristas, a young man with circular glasses and a bun and a young woman (unremarkable in features and personality) both were very rude and appeared annoyed with having to take our order. We felt immediately that we had inconvenienced both by our very presence. It’s unfortunate that these two are employed here as they are not a reflection of the accepting, kind, positive vibes Saugatuck emits. We tried one more time and the same man with the bun and glasses was just as rude as the last time. It is very disappointing as the coffee and quality is superb. However, the energy this individual is so negative that it is not worth the coffee.More
The coffee is amazing but the last two times we have visited, the staff was incredibly rude and made it seem as though they were put out having to take out order. Both baristas were unfriendly and omitted such a negative energy that it ruined...the cute atmosphere and the great coffee. Both of these instances included a young man (with a bun and round glasses) who seems put out if he has to interact with customers. He is pretentious, unfriendly and does not belong working in the service industry. The young woman working with him was just as cold and just stared at us without letting us know what the total of our order was. Again, the coffee is wonderful! Just rude employees with no customer service skills at all.More
