Variety of "California cuisine"--combining American, Mexican, and Asian influences. Homemade soups, varied entrees, good wine selection. Nice white-tablecloth atmosphere. This seems to be a one-of-a-kind place, not a chain.

It is located near a performing art center and a great hotel. A few steps away you have movie theaters and other shops. Its food is a fusion of East and West, plus a sushi bar. Wine list is more than adequate. Since I live...More
My husband and I have been coming here since they opened and always had great food. Richard and staff has always welcomed us and has been flexible with the menus far as vegetarian, spiceyness or if you don't see something on the menu, no harm...More
A full excellent menu . Prices are great and the service is excellent. Nice atmosphere and great location.
Don't go to Paris, enjoy European Bistro Quisine at ARTE'S. The food is fabulous, the staff is experienced friendly and courteous. My husband and I have recommened the restaurant to all of our friends and family. We have always received rave reviews.Their wine too is...More
Never had anything but great meals at Arte Cafe. Been there many times and never hesitate to go back. Chef/owner Richard always has a great selection to choose from, and the wine list is excellent.
The ahi tuna tartar is a perfect balance of crunch and savory/salty tuna seasoned with soy sauce. The create your own pasta is great way to get pasta, vegetables and alfredo sauce - my favorite. The creme brulee trio is only $5 and the small...More
This is an easy place to miss if you are not exploring. It's small and intimate setting, but delicious food. I ate here several times on two trips to the area, and was never disappointed. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, the steaks were tender, and...More
I don't mean to rave, but this restaurant prepared the absolutely most perfectly prepared pasta that I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. They were happy to substitute a component of my seafood dish (took out the salmon and replaced it with...More
I selected this place after reading reviews on Trip Advisor since I needed a restaurant to close to my customers office. On a positive, the lunch time was not busy - however, the service was still very slow. There were only 2 people to take...More
Nice atmosphere! Service was excellent. Waiter was nice and very attentive. Tried their steak and lobster. Was cooked perfectly! Waiter suggested a nice bottle of Phelps Insignia which paired nicely with the steak. For desert, the creme brulee was excellent. Highly recommend!
Took my wife and daugther here on Mother's Day to have a nice dinner close to home here in cerritos. It was the second time we have eaten here, the first time being pretty average. First off, I really wanted to like this place since...More
I had eaten at this restaurant a few times over several years always with very good experiences. The place is misleading first because it is in Cerritos, which I do not consider to be one of hot spot restaurant and entertaining centers of So. Cal,...More
Went there for a group dinner on a weekday night. This place definitely looks upscale and service is generally good (would not say excellent, as they forgot who ordered what in our group of 9 people). Their dishes are reasonably priced and the entrees include...More
Been going to ARTE for several years. Can count on great food, but a turnover in personnel makes service iffy at times. Usually acceptable, though. The petite filet is a bargain, and the raw fish and sushi are dependable and fresh. Best restaurant in the...More
