Realize that costs have gone up but binoculars would be required to find the vegetable in the veg pizzas. Somewhat disappointing..

We've been going to Malagueta for years. The play area for kids is the big lure. As for the food though, you progressively get less for more. Initially they gave complimentary bread rolls; then limited to 1 each; then removed; now you pay for them....The prices have shot up too. Some meals here we don't look at anymore due to this. It is a family restaurant but it's getting too expensive for a family to go there.More
Peri peri chicken was very dry (burnt and dry). After waited 40 min for a lamb shank meal, A different waiter came over to tell us they mixed up the order and prepared oxtail (which I don't eat) The only good thing is the kids...play areaMore
Having read the horrifying reviews from the past, thought let me find out🤔. Well done for rectifying your errors and turning over a new leaf. Awesome service, excellent food: relaxing and refreshing environment.
We had a great experience. The staff took great care of us. The breakfast was good. We are going back this evening.
The best thing about our meal was the Coca Cola. The food was bland and tasteless. Will never go back.
First-time visitors and we were so impressed with the look and atmosphere of this restaurant. The staff were extremely attentive, the food was so delicious (best lemon butter sauce ever!!), and the children had a ball! We will definitely be back. Thank you for a...lovely Sunday experience.More
I know there has been a lot of 'negative' talk about Malagueta but the new ownership has really turned the place around. Great food, good service, lovely atmosphere. I was well impressed and I am glad I went to try it for myself. Not every...place will be everyone's cup of tea but for our family it was superb. THANK YOU and well done ..... All the best to the new owners. We will be back again :)More
The restaurant has the right idea and have set the right conditions for a perfect family restaurant where children can play. My problem is the noise from the bar area where it seems like a karaoke woman playing it was really unpleasant the music was...too loud it was like I was at a typical club trying to be a restaurant. Then there was the lake of condiments and appetiser on the table so I can eat while waiting for my food that took forever and not all the items on the menu are available so we had to change our meals 3 times. Last is the menus they provided are very disappointing low quality and very difficult to read. I must say that the family vibe they where going for is there and welcoming so if u can over look all that then this is the place for you.More
I brought my gran, mom and kids here for my grans birthday as it's close to her and accommodates children. We have come here many times in the past and it never disappoints. The manager was around on a very busy Sunday helping us with...all our little annoying requests and I was just so impressed with how well run it still is. It is family-owned and deserves our business. Thank you Malagueta. Your staff, food and atmosphere are without fault.More
I come with big expectations and left almost angry. Waitress totally unprofessional just for begining he actually throw menu on the table. Waiting time for food very long but only three tables was occupied. One of the meal was simple Neapolitana Pasta even child can...make it but not this chef. It was more like soup with overcooked pasta - terrible For price they should be shame even put that imitation of meal on table Hello or Good bye I think was scrap from their dictionary. Even the worst enemy I will not send there. Wake up guys!!!More
Average restaurant with above average prices. The toilet facilities are an exercise in overthinking something. If it aint broke don't fix it. Why create a passage with multiple doors leading into small toilet rooms. Having to walk up and down the passage knocking on each...door to see if it was available or not. By the time I got to the end of the passage, someone leaves the first door at the bottom of the passage & the you make your way back down , just as someone else ducks into the toilet. What a mistake. If you a bursting for the toilet I recommend booking a toilet room in advance....More
An amazing place to meet up with your girlfriends for some much needed catch up and girl talk. An incredible place to spend with your family and kids.
We attended a birthday party at the restaurant, this restaurant has a awesome kids area, you can sit on the patio and the kids are always in sight. The food was good and the service was excellent. We will definitely return.
It was an unpleasant experience. I could not tell what was worst, service or the food. As a cherry on top of the cake waiter disappeared with the change obviously wanted to tip himself. Menageress was pretty emaberassed since they had problem finding him, as...he disappeared in a thin air. Would not go there again.More
