Spending a few days in Búzios and enjoying ambling along the edge of the harbour. Fancied fish to eat and Salt just happened to be there with lots of boards advertising fish dishes so we sat down outside with a lovely cool evening breeze. Really...lovely staff - older gentleman looked after us and was friendly and helpful despite our language difference. Had mix of cheese and shrimp pasties to start. Freshly made, hot and delicious with a sweet chilli sauce. We had a traditional Brazilian dish to share - Moqueca - a fish stew (we had langoustine and shrimp) served with rice, very thin curly sweet potato (like a birds nest) and a ground root which I think was yam. Oh my goodness! So so tasty. Plenty for both of us but no room left for desert! Restaurant was quite unassuming and competes with all the others on the street but I would highly recommend eating here. Looking at what other diners were having (bad habit of mine!) the other menu choices also looked to be excellent and beautifully presented.More

A lovely charming restaurant that was amongst my handful of favourites in Buzios. Blue and white and cozy, this restaurant had the charm I look for in restaurants etc. I must say we very seldom had bad food in Brazil. Except at the Michelin star...MEE at the Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio where the food looked stunning but tasted bland and boring. The food in these little restaurants in Buzios (read my other reviews as well !) was far better than at a Michelin Restaurant ! Shocking but true !More

Passed this place a few times walking into the centre but on checking the menu we found a lot of Gluten Free dishes. There was a good choice and my wife had the Thai green curry (GF) and said it was very good. I had...the sirloin and lemon risotto, also very good. All cooked fresh and very reasonably priced including the introductory drinks !! We were the only customers in there but it was only 8pm so early. If you are in the area and a coeliac, definitely call in.More

This is a really nice restaurant, the staff are attentive and friendly and the menu is exquisite - I really enjoyed eating there and it is not a show-off place like others in Buzios. So why am I giving only one star? A few hours...after I ate their very tasty salmon my stomach started a rebellion which would go on for daysn- a really severe case of diarrhea. Since I had not eaten anything but bread that day I am unfortunately sure it must have been the fish. So on hot summer days fish may not be the dish of choice here (or maybe anywhere).More

This restaurant offers great dishes with a modern touch. The onion soup is delicious, the white chocolate desert was also a great surprise!

This is my second time in Salt. We chose a table where we could see the beautiful seaside (Orla Bardot) where the restaurant is located. We ordered drinks, mine was "London Beats", really great. We also had ceviche for starters. We had fish for the...main course. The side dish was a delicious puree made of banana. It tasted really awesome with the fish. This time we did not have dessert, but there are great creative options. Staff is nice. In summary, one of the best places to have a delicious dinner in Búzios!More

Stopped here for an early supper and had a delicious meal which was good value. No one else there but it was 6.45 so assume it fills up later. My husband had delicious fish Aranchini with curry mayonnaise and I had shrimp ceviche both very...nice. We then had fillet mignon with mushrooms and spaghetti and lobster risotto followed by sharing a chocolate brownie and ice cream. Good service and super view of sunsetMore

Probably one of the best choices for dining in Búzios, excellent service, excellent food, excellent location. But get early, by 08:00 pm otherwise there will be a long waiting line.
