Having stayed all over the world at 5-star hotels - NOTHING compares with the incredible guest services. And, the setting is stunning. The large pool is beautiful with lots of sturdy, top-of-the-line loungers and plentiful towels. Of course, many guests are lured by the fabulous...food. It is an all-inclusive resort with three meals a day. The husband-owner is Italian and the pasta course every night is authentic, fresh pasts with all kinds of delightful seafood sauces. The main course consists often of fish that has come off the boat that afternoon and overseen by the wife-owner. Italian desserts are the best - and if you don't believe me, then you must stay and experience it. The property is a tropical paradise with unusual flowering trees and shrubs everywhere. It's the safest resort we've ever stayed. And, the guests, from all over the world as well as diplomats located in Manila, are friendly as can be when we all dine under the open-air restaurant. Many guests seem to enjoy the bar as well. After 7 years of trying various accommodations in Puerto Galera and enjoying most of them, this is the one we've settled on for the future ALWAYS.More

We took a day trip from El Galleon resort to travel by banca to experience lunch at Fishermen's Cove restaurant. Absolute 5-star luxury food. Highly recommended. Beautiful antipasti; home-made pasta and fresh seafood all served beside a beautiful bay. We will definitely return.

We had a very spacious apartment on the top floor, room 14, complete with a large balcony and a magnificent view. We were here mainly for the diving and found it to be excellent for macro sea life, particularly sea horses, shrimps, nudibranch, wunderpus, ghost...pipe, leaf and frog fish plus many many more. Our dive guide (Ariel) was excellent and knew where to find interesting sea life., and he managed the group effectively to give everyone a view of the highlights. The resort is big enough to feel spacious and whilst still maintaining a family atmosphere. During our stay the guests were predominantly Italian. They were friendly and like ourselves were keen divers. We enjoyed the food especially the sea food, pasta and carpaccio (bit naughty to eat the fish after swimming with them most of the day, but that’s nature for you). We loved the menu, but if you are not a sea food lover then your choice will obviously be less expansive. The wine was reasonably priced and delicious. The owner, Guisseppi, was friendly and polite, and came to chat to us every day to check that we were happy, and he went out of his way to help. He offered to drive us to places and even retrieved my e-reader that I left in a taxi on the mainland. Would definitely return.More

We came across their restaurant by accident. The trike that we rented was supposed to bring us to Sabang beach but recommended this place to us instead. We were looking for something more quaint and far away from the crowd, and we were lucky to...have found this gem. The food was Italian and did not disappoint. The ambience was exactly what we were looking for. The place was spotless, clean and well organized and you can tell that it was well managed. The servers were polite and did their job very well. We did not stay in the resort as I did'nt see this when we were looking for a place to stay. Nevertheless, we were glad to have come across it as we were totally disappointed with the places around White Beach.More

Small resort focused on diving. The touch of the Italian manager can be found everywhere, especially on the food! special attention is dedicated to all the guest by all the resort staff (both at diving, in the rooms and at the restaurant). Great dives (mainly...for macro) with the support of nice guides always available to show you many critters. Small but well maintained swimming pool, nice garden, comfortable and really clean rooms. we spent 9 days and we really would like to stay more! we are already planning next stay in this special resort. we'd like to thank Giuseppe, the manager, for all the support during booking and during our stay. see you soon!More

The view on the bay is jus beautiful, the food is delicious (homemade pasta, pizza on Saturdays), service is attentive. Usually a grappa or coffee is offered for free after eating. If you want to eat there, you should make a reservation if you don't...stay at the resort.More

This was our first visit to Fishermans Cove dive resort in Puerto Galera and it wont be our last its amazing. Guiseppe is the perfect host, from the moment we arrived we were looked after really well. The food is amazing its like going to...an italian restaurant every night. The staff are brilliant so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We went there persifically to dive and was certainly not disappointed the dive guides certainly know their stuff and the boat crew are great. Giuseppe Portolan offers some of the best and freshest Italian meals at his resort, Fishermen's Cove. Guests staying at the resort get full board. Visiting guests can choose from the menu. During our stay we had thin crust pizza (4 varieties to choose from), tons...of fresh garden salad, tuna carpaccio, spaghetti alle vongole, seafood kebab and mozzarella cheese. Pasta, bread and ice cream are home made. The panna cotta is to die for. Ingredients are of highest quality and very fresh. He only serves Italian coffee. A three course meal is about PhP 800. Service is attentive and excellent.More

I had been here several times more than 20 years ago and hated it. But I was in a group that voted to dine at Fisherman's Cove so I was approaching the visit with trepidation. It is almost as if a fairy visited and waved...her wand. The food was nothing short of magnificent and the service from young Philippino girls truly faultless. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. All for a cost that was indeed a pleasant surprise. Particularly since we consumed about 4 bottles of excellent house wines.More
