Thus is a great spot. Fresh fish, open kitchen, attentive service, good desserts, and the ambience is really pleasant.

Every single second in this place was a delight. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the Chef and the hostess - and they accommodated us - even though our reservation thru TripAdvisor failed (!). We chose the Chef’s tasting menu -...5 courses - each unbelievably better than the last! Every dish was unique (even what they were served in) and sooo delicious. We oohed and ahhed our way thru an amazing evening which was further enhanced by the incredibly charming waiters (Anna, Sabrina and Simona). Just the best night in Genoa! Highly highly recommend this gem❤️More
Our meal was fine, but we left with a flat feeling. I Cuochi runs a two-service system, and we had the feeling we were being ‘processed’ by the staff. The welcome was super-warm and friendly, as was the order taking and initial serving. Once we’d...been served dessert, however, we were ignored. Meanwhile, with over 30mins spare until the 21.30 sitting, staff were busy laying up the vacated tables. When we managed to catch a waitress’s eye to order coffee, she asked whether the dessert had been good (tarte tartin special, very average), but had zero interest in our honest response. As for the food: mains of white fish were good, starters of scallops also good. Wine is relatively expensive, c.€32 and upwards. Total meal cost for two courses each and one dessert, bottle of wine, tap water and coffees was €138; not outrageous for the food, but there are better places nearby. I’d recommend Rosmarino, Le Rune and Retrocucina wholeheartedly.More
We were recommended this retaurant by our hotel and it turned out to be the most fabulous surprise. Charming and welcoming staff a REALLY interesting menu which translated into lovely food beautifully presented and very tasty. The wine list was good. All very reasonably priced...for the very high standard of food. Highly recommended.More
The atmosphere is really nice. Food is exquisite and I appreciated the attention they gave to my lactose intolerance. We were shown around the cellar, tasted their in-house rum and heard the fascinating story about the history of the place. The staff are very professional...with good attention to detail in the way they explain the menu and serve the guests. We ordered the degustation which was very well price: good value for money. Highly recommended.More
We had missed our slot on the day we arrived in Genoa because our flight was diverted to Turin, and had to phone in our excuses. We were remembered when we looked in the following day, and were able to sneak in. The set menu...of the day at EUR 40 sounded good. After some interesting tasters, the two main dishes were a revelation. Cappelletti stuffed with something fishy, and then some exquisite fried tuna. A nice dessert, and a macchiato - perfect. We thought we had ordered wine-by-the-glass, but they turned out just to be tasters. Better to share a bottle.More
I went there last night for a birthday dinner for my friend. Dinner started with a complementary soup. Our first courses were melanzani and polpo. Second courses were pansotti and tonno. Dinner was cheesecake and ? Four glasses of wine. Probably should have ordered a...bottle. Everything was excellent. Great service. Friendly, efficient young women. 133 euros. Made the reservation on Fork. Reservations absolutely.More
We absolutely loved this place! The lovely owner, has brought his passion for food from his native Greece and set up a gorgeous restaurant in a beautiful setting. We ate in the beautiful room upstairs and simply loved the food, the wine and the impeccable...service.More
I Cuochi is superb. The quality of the food was excellent. great service and reasonably priced. Unusually for us we both went for the set menu at 40 euros each. An excellent sea bass tartar with orange zest, pasta in a delicious seafood bisque, then...tuna - perfectly seared in an almond crust on a bed of puréed Jerusalem artichoke with caramelised onion. A chocolate mousse to finish with fruit compote. And a bottle of Friulli (Ribolla) at 32 euros - perfect A busy but relaxing atmosphere and liked the decor too. Highly recommend.More
Nice food but probabaly a little overrated. The kitchen struggling to bring out food for the whole table at the same time does not make for a great dining experience. Staff seem a little tense at times. The really good crème brulee would be the...principal reason for returning the next time we are in town.More
Quite amazing! Wonderful food from local ingredients of the best quality, cooked with real creativity and flair, and a feeling for the taste and texture of the food, paired with most amazing local wines.
Tucked up a slide street and recommended by the staff at the Palazzo Grillo. This is excellent restaurant with a stylish, albeit slightly formal atmosphere. It would be great for a romantic meal. The staff are excellent - buzzing around ensuring a responsive service. The...food has a very modern, European vibe with a menu dominated by seafood. My stand out dish was a secondi of a red mullet fillet in a rich, flavoursome bisque. This was intense and delicious.More
Excellent food and service. We enjoyed the four course fixed menu and they easily changed my plates to be gluten free. Friendly staff and nothing was a hassle. Excellent food quality and great value for money. Highly recommended for gluten free needs.
Food, atmosphere and staff super! If you want foodgasm I sincerely recommend to try this one. Staff was fantastic! The food was wonderful and atmosphere relaxed.
It started with a friendly person to make the reservation! We got there and got greeted by everyone including the chefs. Beautiful restaurant, very cosy and very professional staff. All waiters were extremely friendly! You can choose à la carte but we decided to try...there degustation menu for 40 euros. Not only the plates were beautifully presented but it was all so scrumptious! If you want to treat yourself or someone you like, you MUST go to I Cuochi. I don't have enough words to say how amazing a dinner that was and the pictures speak for themselves!More
