We went to “Egeo” with our teachers and friends for an English school project called “Eat the world”. The restaurant is not near a subway station, but it’s easy to reach the place by bus. The restaurant hasn’ t got a private parking. The place...is nice , typically greek with blue and white furniture and walls and with typical ancient greek objects all around. The equipment is simple, the smells were strong but good and the temperature was high. The bathroom is very small and there are parts of the restaurant cleaner than others. The food was very traditional and good. We tasted more than 12 greek dishes. Some of us didn’t like all food. Some often really liked everything we ate. The waiters were friendly and spoke good English, only they were slow and there was little communication between the kitchen and the dining room. The price, more or less, was right for what we ate. We chose to pay a fixed price for twelve different dishes. This was a good offer that the restaurant proposed. We all spent around 18 euro and we all really ate a lot.More

On may 7th we went to “Egeo” Greek restaurant, in Rome. The location was very nice, everything in the restaurant was white and blue. There were a lot of typical objects on the walls, such as musical instruments and sea nets. We ate a lot...of different typical Greek dishes. A very good thing we ate was Pita. Not everyone of us liked the Dolmades rolls. It’s a very typical Greek food made of rice and a grape leaf. Chickpea cream was very good. We really liked the feta cheese, we tasted it in the salads and as a cream. The salads were great. We didn’t try any typical Greek drinks. The service was nice but we didn’t talk much to the waiter, he was very friendly and every time we asked him something about the food we were eating, he kindly answered. We spent around 18 euro per person, and that seemed a fair price for what we ate.More

We got there with no reservation close to midnight, they accepted us in and treated as if we had come early. No presure at all. We had bruschetta and later musaka. Local beer (not Italian). Price was very acceptable, for the service and the food....We will return. I have been told that fridays there is live music at night.More

My friend and I got some pita and tzatziki to share, a bruschetta each (I had taramasalata) and a musaka. We really enjoyed it! It was a lot of food, we could've probably shared a musaka but it all tasted great and it was exactly...what we wanted. We went here for convenience as we were staying nearby, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but if you're nearby definitely give it a try. There's no English menu however there is wifi and I used the camera function on the google translate app to translate things I didn't understand. Staff speak English and are very very friendly! Definitely recommend if you're nearby :)More

Really beautiful and cosy place. The cuisine is fresh and delicious, each dish was incredibly tasty. We tried a plate of Greek cheese and also la moussaka, and especially nice was traditional Greek salad. The service is delicate and polite, and the owner gave as...a compliment from the restaurant olives with a small glass of "anise vodka" as starter. We enjoyed our dinner in all possible ways! Great thanks! Strongly recommend to visit this Greek restaurant. Ps. The prices are really affordable. For example, plate of grilled cheese- near 6€, la moussaka-9, the salad- 7€. And there is no "coperto" :)More

It is one of the best mousakas I 've ever tried!! I am proud to be Greek, but a mousaka like that in Rome is beyond my expectations!!! Not to mention the melitzanosalata... And the portokalopitta... Delicious! Great service, excellent food quality, fantastic atmosphere!! Absolutely...a must!More

I lived many years in Rome and i ate several times in this restaurant. Long time ago i even celebrate new years eve in this Greek tavern and was wonderful. As is a family restaurant the owner and his family are taking good care of...customers serving fresh and delicious Greek cousin. In week-ends they have live Greek music and every time i was at Egeo i felt very welcome and was a real pleasure to enjoy good food and nice music in here!More
