We have eaten at this gorgeous little hidden gem 2 nights in a row now. Yesterday I had the tomatoes with pawns which was absolutely delicious and my partner had Fois Gras which he loved. Then we shared the suckling pig which was cooked to...perfection and simply incredible. We decided to go back again tonight because we were so confident we would have another amazing meal and we did. We shared steak tartare for starters which was and I’m not exaggerating the best I’ve ever had. I’ve tried a lot too. Then we followed up with the T bone steak which was cooking perfectly, extremely tasteful with potatoes too. I cannot recommend this enough. You won’t be disappointed! I expect to go back again too before we leave I love it.More

I don’t know how anyone could give this place a subpar review. Every dish was phenomenal and beautifully prepared. Catalan emphasis on the menu with some French flair thrown in. From what I understand, third generation restaurant Unpretentious setting with only about 30 seats, so...make a reservation.More

My wife and I just completed two weeks in Italy and Spain and, even with the bar set really high, Sense Pressa was the single best meal we enjoyed on the trip. We were the only non-locals on the night we dined and only a...little english is spoken by the staff, but the service is friendly and we were able to communicate well enough. We had three of the nightly specials -- chickpeas with cockles, roasted monkfish and the throat of the Hake fish cooked in a sauce. They were all amazing! The table next to us had the suckling pig and that looked good too. These were not dishes we saw on other menus in Barcelona. They only have ten tables, so reservations are needed. Definitely worth a visit.More

Very small restaurant with genuine home-made cuisine but using ingredients which are in many cases not possible to be found by a private person. Don't look for stravaganza in the way dishes are cooked or presented. They are just cooked as they must be to...show what ingredients are there and to get the best out of all of them. One goes to this restaurant simply because is one of the best places to eat in Barcelona, not to be surprised by food that can't recognize.More

Such a great experience on our 1st night in Barcelona. The restaurant was recommended to us by smbd who lives in Barcelona. From the minute we entered the restaurant and till last we were feeling welcomed. Food was terrific, best suckling pig-highlight of the dinner....If you are looking for true genuine experience not the tourist trap, then the place is for you. Highly recommended.More

The most enjoyable dining experience I had my entire time in Barcelona. The food was exquisite, the service was superb and the atmosphere was quaint and friendly. The owner came and said hello to everyone in the restaurant and it seemed he knew most of...the people from previous visits. He came to my table, introduced himself to me and made me feel as if I was in his home. I am on a plant based diet and the kitchen prepared dishes specially for me, seeing the regular menu was not suited to my diet (the restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who is from Barcelona). I can say, if you come to Barcelona it is a must on the to do list.More

This is a real family restaurant that serves traditional food with plenty of flavor and taste. Follow their recommendations and you can face wonderful specialties cooked perfectly well. And the family members are great and helpful! “No rush” is the translation of their name and...it’s one of those places you stay for long because you feel in heaven.More

A highly rated family-run restaurant. A traditional catalan kitchen. Only a few tables, so you better book ahead. Mostly locals, which is a good sign. I assume our orders where taken by the owner, who suggested the starter, the best ever chickpea course I have...tasted. The main was like a veal stew with chantarelles, also this an excellent one. What I have to blame of then? When it came into coffee and local brandy, the usual tourist rip-off came through; how about a 20-year old Torres? Of course the choice was mine and I was even shown the bottle before it was served, but none the less, it would have been fair to offer a regular local brandy instead of a one of 18€. So stars for the taste, minus for the a bit unesthetic look of the portions and the biggest minus for the brandy suggestion, which would never had been made for a local customer.More

I know that you guys at TripAdvisor are trying your best to help travelling people. So, you get a myriad of reviews and opinions. Mostly, submitted by travelling people. Again, fine! However, as you also must admit, the best and most valuable tips will come...from locals. And this is what this review is all about! We went to the restaurant based on the recommendation of my golfing buddy. He described it as excellent local food restaurant, ran by a family, priced reasonably. And we experineced it exactly as described. Not only did we ejoy our yesterday's dinner, but we again went to have our today's lunch there! Try any of their pinchos or seafood. Suckling pig was a sensation. Finish with exceptional season's fruits and the best espresso coffee found in this part of the world. Also: they will not sell you the most expensive bottle of wine of their Wine List. Instead, they will recommend a bottle at decent price and good quality. Respectful! If you have a problem with speaking Spanish, owner's son will help you out. Don't worry!More

Excellent restaurant in Barcelona serving fine and elaborated courses. The best option is to ask the maitre about the specials. Restaurant always serving season suggestions and recommendations. Small restaurant, quite familiar. One cannot be disappointed when visiting this restaurant.

If you love Catalan traditional cuisine, this is definitely your place in Barcelona ! Everything is delicious! Tasting like your grandma's! As starters we shared : rossinyols (mushrooms) with black sausage , cigrons amb espardenyes , laminated grilled artichokes and rabbit meat / rabo de...toro croquetas . As main course I had Bacallà a la meva manera (fish), which was so tasteful ! As dessert we shared leche Frita and coca de Llavaneres. Book in advance as there are only 8 tables. The owner and chef is really friendly and doing helpful recommendations . I will definitely repeat!More

It is a small restaurant , very pleasant ambiance. Food is really good but not extremely sophisticated. The clams with artichokes was the highlight of the night. Good wine selection also. Make a reservation, as there is only one shift and a limited number of...tables it is difficult to get a spot.More
