Deadwood junction is a great coffee shop / gift shop. We stopped in on the drive from Nelson to Vancouver and enjoyed hot drinks and some baked goods. Service here is friendly and the shop is a great place to check out some work by...local artists as well as find some gifts for friends!More

The coffee (“Canadiano” - like an Americano only they use drip coffee to top up the espresso as opposed to hot water for an Americano), was the best I’ve ever had. The carrot cake was also the best I’ve ever had. (driving through this town...from eastern BC to Victoria BC). For a town of about 700 people, they sure are lucky!!More

Happened to stop here more for a stretch break than anything else...but walked into this very quaint little coffee shop. Had some baking and a coffee. (wonderful) . If driving thru Greenwood....you have to take a few minutes and stop in. It's worth it.

When you are driving through Greenwood and need a coffee and piece of baking,Mathis place is an excellent choice. The Copper Eagle is also great but is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The specialty coffee menu is varied and the pieces of baking are HUGE and...affordable. Delicious smoothies too. There is also a gift shop on site. Fast and friendly service. The pecan squares are to die for.More

Stopped by the cafe around 11am for lunch on my way to Nelson. They wouldn't make anything from the kitchen anymore. Had to order anything pre-made from the fridge at the counter. However, sausage rolls and salads were the only items available. Not being picky,...I sat outside at the small lawn with picnic table and had my lunch. The cafe got quite busy. Found out later the only other other cafe in the city were closed. I then moved to another seat right against the cafe in front of the parking lot and finished to finish my coffee. Enjoy the stay for a break and watching customers come and go.More

The baked goods were really good. Servings are large for the baked items — prices are reasonable for what you get. Lots of cranberries in the cranberry orange scone. Busy little place. They also have BBQ items for lunch but we were having a road...side snack stop so didn’t try any BBQ items. Lots of places to sit outside.More

The cafe will not wear unless it is mandated. Yes, I saw reviews that said don’t go if you are worried... the owner also said ‘don’t come if I am worried’ and this screams, “my comfort is more important than yours”. I travel all over...the province. All the coffee shops I’ve been to wear masks. This coffee shop is a real junction and I must say it is a treat to go to when I travel... and, it is truly unfortunate that they will not act on the recommendation to wear masks (as the provincial heath officer suggests). This attitude is not progressive and it is not looking into the future. As cold weather comes, the aerosols will continue to linger longer, there is a real chance there will be a covid exposure. It is so simple and yet much too inconvenient for the owner and staff. Shame.More

Sorry to hear this, when masks are mandated by health officials we will wear them and have them ready. We are meeting all requirements given to us by Interior Health and Worksafe BC.
