Go here at least twice a week. Coffee is great and staff so pleasant. Tables are kept very clean which is more than you can say for the local Costa coffee outlets.

Beware I gave an honest review of my visit to this coffee shop with my wife on the day in question ,considering we have visited this shop regularly since it first opened some years ago and have witnessed many staff changes we were disapointed on...this visit hence the review (that's what they are for) however we were met by the manager last week and told we are not welcome in the shop again So much for customer relations.More

This is our local coffee shop and it’s a great place to enjoy a decent coffee. The staff are all cheerful and give great service. Even with the Covid restrictions, they are extremely well organised and are meticulous in their cleaning of the tables and...chairs when people leave. As well as decent coffee they provide a good range of food you’d expect to find in a coffee shop - the scones are particularly good! Well worth a visit!More

Love this place. Staff are all really friendly, coffee is very tasty and they always have lots of cakes and tray bakes to tempt. Really missed them during lockdown. Have brought friends here who are jealous they don’t live near a Rubens shop.

I've been to this cafe a lot and I find the staff very pleasant and accommodating even though it's quite difficult at the moment with new restrictions. The staff have to follow guidelines which doesn't always go down too well with certain types of people...who complain because they can't sit where they want to. It's just unfortunate but it's not the staffs fault they all work hard to please us customers. Well done girls and boys. Keep smiling.xMore

I visit this coffee shop about three times a week with my 3 teenage sons and husband. The coffee shop is spotless, the girls and gent who work there are always happy to see you, they always have a smile and a friendly chat. Even...though they are sometimes rushed off their feet.Lauren and Meg and their staff are really nice people, I'd go as far as to say the best staff in any of the Ruben chain. I have been there when people have moaned the shop is too hot or too dark, but that's not the Staffs fault, more the owners!More

My family and I absolutely love Rubens Bromborough (Allport rd). My husband is gluten free and they always have some lovely treats in for him and me my girls enjoy everything else he can’t have 😂 The staff are super friendly and we always get...fantastic service. I come with friends, family and kids and I can’t rate it enough. Our favourite place to go!More

12/10 every time for me! Allport Rd Rubens has become my happy place since reopening. Despite the current uncertain and anxious climate there is always a warm, friendly welcome and although every care has been made to keep staff and customers safe, it's not blindingly...obvious and feels no different. It's a great place to relax! I don't know where they get their lemon drizzle cake from but it's worth the trip there for that alone!More

I am a very regular customer and the last two visits they they only allowed us to sit in a dark corner when there where more comfortable seats in the place but as we were only a couple they would not let us use these...seats so when I refused they replied with a shrug so we walked out never to visit againMore

I come here often and have always found the staff helpful and food or drinks good. If sitting inside the coffee shop the tables are always wiped when customers leave. This however does not happen to the tables outside. No excuses can be given. Tables...get cleared but no attempt at wiping down for new customers that sit down. We are left to have coffee stains or sticky sugar. A little more thought for when we choose to sit outside please.More
