We had an early morning flight and this was the perfect place to stay the night. We took a city bus to get there and after about 40 minutes, we were dropped off a block away. The owner, Zoe, recommended a pub to walk to, it was a long, but pleasant walk to the Starr Inn. We had an excellent meal. The owner's husband invited us to watch a world cup game with him and it included a "drop" of whiskey! We were treated like family. The room is small for two with a shared bathroom, but for one night, it is fine. Zoe got up very early (4:45 am), had breakfast ready, and gave us a ride to the airport for 3 GBP.

We stayed here for 2 nights with friends. Prior to our visit we had to cancel the 3rd night and Zoe was very helpful with the booking.Com problem. Check in is quite late, 5.30 to 10.30 but if earlier is required I'd suggest checking with them before dismissing this as an option. Both rooms are lovely. The double room is next to the bathroom and if you're not a heavy sleeper you may be awoken by the shower being used. The bathroom is a family one and in use by everyone, although the family are careful not to 'hog' it we did find that with our friends using it at the same time as us caused a queue so be prepared to cross your legs or be fast off the mark. Both rooms have TV in, but the twin room appears to be the only one to have a freeview box which has a TV guide on, the double room TV is more channel hopping to find something to watch and no guide. This is a great b&b for an overnight stay, however we felt that our second evening dragged a little as the only shared space is the conservatory where breakfast is served and we all just retired to our respective rooms. Breakfast is very good, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt and a cooked breakfast ... You'll certainly be set up for the day!…

Had a great night stay very comfortable and clean was made to feel welcome. I had the twin share room so it was nice to have a bed to myself and my hubby had the other. Was a shared bathroom which I don't really like but there was only one other couple staying so the bathroom worked well. Had a huge yummy breakfast. Thankyou for a terrific stay.

I arrived late at night and Zoe helped me with my bags upstairs, offered me milk for my tea, and showed me around. The next morning she dropped me off at the bus station for my tour. Could not have been more of a lovely woman, accommodating and easy-going. Such a delight. As for the place.... had a breakfast of duck egg, beans, mushrooms and tomatoes, toast, sweet berries, orange juice and a french press full of coffee. The room is equipped with snacks and water bottles and clean sheets, towels as well as comfortable beds. Absolutely delightful food and company while eating in the lovely little sunroom with music playing. Oh and there are cows across the street so you may here some mild moo-ing at night, but it was enchanting if you ask me! Also it's about a 2-3 minute walk to get to the bay. Conveniently quite close to airport, but you'd never know judging by how serene the landscape is. 10.5/10 would recommend. Thank you Zoe, perfect way to end my travels! …

We stayed here on our first night of our trip around Scotland and very impressed. Lovely cosy B&B with a very yummy breakfast. Very welcoming hosts, kindly picked us up from the airport and dropped us off to collect our car in the morning. I would deffinitly recommend staying here, the views are stunning and in a quiet location.
