The only good thing about this hotel was the location - just across the street from the night food markets. The hotel is old and needs refurbishing. The air con was not up to the task. The hot water didn't work at all (but they allowed me to use the shower in another room). The furniture was old and shabby. The mosquitoes were terrible. But it was dirt cheap, so you get what you pay for.

i done my research before staying here and read a few horror stories but it didn't put me off booking and the price was great , I hate paying over the odds for hotel rooms and at £10 a night this was a bargain I arrived at around 8:30am expecting to store my luggage and have a wander around until I could check in but the kind lady on reception said wait 30mins and your room is ready sir room on 2nd floor , ongoing refurb so lift is out of action ( at as of 8th march ) basic but clean room with double bed , big TV , separate showeroom , fridge with free water as standard good clean comfy bed , had a good sleep hotel has nice restaurant as good prices , 7/11 is across the street as well as an evening night market which has to be tried loads of places to visit within 10mins walk , I plan to return next year and would stay here again

so when you arrive to your room... just keep telling yourself.... it's cheap and good location. this is a thai 3 star stand hotel... there is no maid to make your room and what you get is what you get. location is prefect... night market... park which has amazing food... and the day market is only a 10 minute walk. it is also only 10 minute taxi ride from the airport which cost 50thb. the is no safe in the room which always frustrates me but as I said... it is what it is... see my other reviews on hotels in ubon which might be better for you. over all.. ok.. if you are on a budget - this is for you

We booked 3 rooms for 12 days, but cancelled before we went to sleep the first day. The hotel does not clean properly between customers. The bed smelled of old sweat, filled with hair. Dirt everywhere, and in all 3 rooms. I am missing words to explain how shocked I am, that people can care so little about their customers. Stay away!!!

The hotel is in a great location to visit this city. Right across from the night food market and weekend walking market. All temples and other attractions are walkable in Ubon. The room was basic, but clean enough and had the all important air conditioning. The staff was friendly. There was a small misunderstanding when we checked in because we had reserved a room online but then they offered us a different type of room. Communication was sometimes an issue because they didn't speak very good English. But, they did help us book a tour guide to take us to Pha Taem and surrounding attractions like waterfalls and national parks, which was amazing and very reasonably priced. The rooms in the hotel definitely need an update to match the lobby, which looks much more modern.

The hotel is located in the center of town close to food bazar and weekend market. There is a grand park on the walking distance to relax. Rooms are small and conjusted. The standard room has no view. No breakfast. For budget and short travel this hotel is ok.

Good location near night time food-stall market with varieties of local delicious food : "Larp Phet" Minced duck spicy salad is a must but tell them serously to make it " Mai Pet" : not spicy otherwise you will be in trouble. Try "Kao Kiap Pak Mor" vietnamese style, it is a must. I also have a local smoothy drink : Lamud Pun with Milk ( ละมุดปั่นกับนม ) OK let's go back to the hotel : the room is OK but the shower on 5th Floor room is so terrible with the small amount of water comming out, it may cause from the water pump, fix it.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Having read reviews from other travellers, I was ready for the fact that the room would not be particularly nice but the location of the hotel was good for sightseeing so I thought I would give it a go. The room was very tired looking - chipped furniture and a very mouldy bathroom. I had a room on the road side, and i appreicate other travellers saying it was noisy but that didn't bother me. The hotel felt safe and the room was clean, if dated. I had breakfast included in my room, which was a set menu and adequate. I also ate in the hotel 2 evenings - I had chicken/cashewnuts both times as it was so delicious. If you are after a cheap, safe place to stay, which is in walking distance of all the central attractions (and opposite a food night market), then choose this hotel. I did see other hotels nearby, but as I was only staying a few nights, I decided to stay where I was. Wifi in the room was excellent.

Found hotel when dropped off by local bus after arriving from Laos. Promo offer 450 BT per night in standard room. Lobby is pleasant enough but rooms seems a bit dated. Clean comfy beds, AC, refrigerator, TV but only Thai channels. kettle to make a cuppa but no tea or coffee provided. Bathroom OK but needs a good scrub to remove mould from tiles. Free wifi but not very good connection in room. Main benefit of staying here is the excellent location downtown between bus station and railway station with good local transport running outside - look for bus #2 cost 10 BT. Airport is 3 km away. Opposite night food market and there are 7_11 convenience stores. The big park and musesm is across the road. About 10 mins walk to river It was OK for one night but nothing special.
