We were really well looked after by our hosts, despite being the only guests so early in the season. The food was beautifully prepared to a really high standard and the wine delicious. We also enjoyed the best two nights sleep of our whole trip thanks to a very comfy bed and some incredible black out blinds. We'd love to come back again later in the season to see the place really in its swing in the summer sun.

We had a very enjoyable short stay at Le Petit Relais. Enjoyed cocktails on the patio and in the little lounge with complimentary hors d'oeuvres. The dinners were fantastic with many choices, everything delicious especially the vin de la maison. Breakfast was abundant. Highly recommended.

You will wonder how this hidden gem so far off the beaten path can possibly sustain a business. But as soon as you enjoy the food, you will know that they are a destination, not just a stop along the way. The food is both beautiful and delicious. The service is attentive and kind. We had two nights there. While the rooms are snug, as most European hotels are, it was quite comfortable. We hope to have the chance to visit again.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a walking tour. We found the food here on an equal footing to the hotel that we had stayed at the night before. Portions were very generous, poassibly over generous, but the food was delicious as prepared by chef Olivier and his daughter. It is a family business in a tiny quiet village but every table inside and out was occupied on each night. All the staff were effficient and friendly although busy. The breakfast home made preserves should not be missed. A minor oversight was the failure to service our bathroom on the first night. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Lovely setting in pretty village with outside seating overlooking the road (which is quiet!) Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and well appointed. The outdoor pool was chilly but nice. The food is French country cooking with very hearty portions !!! Puddings were particularly good.

The four of us really enjoyed our meal. It was a special meal. Two went a la carte and enjoyed the fois gras and tournedos. Accomplished cooking. And we had vegetables which is not that common in the Dordogne where the market produce does not reach the restaurant plate. They grow their own organic vegetables and are willing to provide more, if asked. Our friends had a requested vegetarian salad followed by sole punier and a tasty dessert for a set price E39.50 each. They served pichet's of wines of various sizes so we could also enjoy a sweet white wine with the fois gras. Service was excellent. This was a very good restaurant and much better than most in the area where the cooking can be a bit slapdash. It is also a two star hotel run by a family in this tiny village.

Lovely place.Tasteful dinning room and friendly welcome. I reserved a table for dinner for my 73rd birthday online and had a quick confirmation reply. Service was very good and the meal delightful, immaginitive and attractive not to mention tasty. Not particularly cheap, but decent value. If you are in the area, recommended. Richard. Allen . UK.

We stayed here one night on our walking holiday. The room was not huge but nicely done with a view to the village at the front. The room next to us (the people had left already) was decorated in a completely different way so the rooms are not identical. We enjoyed drinks and nibbles with fellow walkers on the terrace before going in to eat in the lovely dining room. It seemed a very popular place for dinner but then dinner was very good, as was breakfast.

We only stayed here one night on our walk to Rocamadour. Very friendly hotel -nice room too. The food is very good - the owner/chef has some really good ideas however the portions can be large so be careful how much you order! This is good for a one-nighter (if you are walking) as there isn't much else here however, a nice quiet village and would definitely keep this on route for next time.

We stayed here as part of a walking holiday. The room sadly smelt of mould/damp and had dog hair on the bed. The room hadn't been opened in a very long time perhaps?? Wouldn't stay here again based on this. However, I would come back again for the food! The evening meal was incredible and breakfast was delicious. The service was warm and friendly. The dining room downstairs is open and light and the terrace out the front was a lovely place to sit for a drink.
