Make the Hilton Garden Inn Appleton/Kimberly hotel your home away from home. The hotel is located in the heart of the Fox River Valley next to Appleton, WI. Shopping at Fox River Mall is just minutes away, and we're just 8 miles from the Fox Cities Stadium, home of the Timber Rattlers, 25 miles from Lambeau Field and the EAA Airventure Museum.
Hotel was ok. For the price some things like breakfast should be included. Would I stay again? Yes but solely on the convenience of location to where I’d be going while in the area. On the plus side staff was very nice and had zero problems on that area

We were spending a night in the Appleton area on our way to Manitowoc to take the Badger Ferry to Ludington, MI. As usual we chose a Hilton property and the HGI brand is our favorite. We were in 301, but the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain and the air conditioner was not working consistently so the front desk on the advice from the really nice Maintenance man immediately relocated us to room 501. Things go wrong and all you can really ask for is a quick and equitable remedy which was exactly what happened. No harm, no foul in my mind. The service was great, the room was really great and the Internet really screamed. Tomorrow morning is the breakfast buffet which is the first for us since Covid. Every other hotel (mainly Hilton Properties) on our 60 day road trip has provided grab…

Floors and walls were filthy in the bathroom. Missing pillow cases. Counter top in room was sticky. Very disappointing as we were here for a family stay for a wedding. In the evening you could never find anyone at the desk to help with anything.

Attended a friend’s son wedding and what a beautiful reception at the farm! Weather was beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for better service! The hotel was convenient and we appreciated all the staff for making our stay fun! Thanks

Superb service! All the basic needs were met! I’m coming back again later in the year. If you need a place to stay, this is it! Clean room and excellent customer service all around. The breakfast is pretty good too!

The hotel was perfect for me. Very good service, clean, nice and cool rooms, good breakfast. I will stay there again. The hotel was very close to the paper mills I had to visit. I will be staying at this hotel on my next visit.

3 out 4 of our grandkids were burned from EXTREM chlorine levels in the pool. Complained to the front desk about the problem 4 times over a three day period. On the third day someone looked into it finally. Funny thing is that one of the front desk girls was honest and told us the truth about the problem. Their maintenance guy left on bad terms and she didn’t exactly say it but inferred that he had done something to the chlorine system on the pool before he left. Funny thing weeks later the manager would not admit that there was any problem, but when she called the maintenance guy to bring the pool records the days in question were blank on the paperwork. This happened just after she had lectured us on the regulations on the pool and that they have to test every day! …

While at my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kimberly, I was very concerned by the lack of care taken for customer safety during this pandemic. I was invited to use the pool and sap with many random people in it. There was no distancing. Many of the guests were unmasked and not encouraged to wear them. It was not clear as to how the room had been prepared for cleanliness and safety.

They don't tell you that, ridiculous rule until you try to check-in. Most of each month, I live in an 18 wheeler, all over the country. I use my brother's address, a short distance from the hotel, for mail and legal purposes. I made reservations, for 4 nights, several days in advance. I rolled into town with just enough time to check-in, shower and get ready for a good friend, who I hadn't seen, in over a year, to come to the hotel to celebrate my 65th birthday. Everything was going ok, till the desk clerk informed me that she would not be allowed to give me a room, which was paid in advance, because I had a local address on my license. I have stayed in many hotels, in the Fox Cities, but never heard of such a ridiculous rule, until now. I ended up having to change…

We arrived in Appleton on Oct. 13 because my father was quite ill and nearing the end of his life. We ended up staying until Oct. 20 when we had the funeral. Spending time with my dad in his final season of life was emotionally draining and painful. The Hilton staff heard why we were staying. Their care was outstanding. At one point, a staff person brought flowers to our room and a card signed by all the staff. That gesture of grace was unexpected and really moved us. The hotel followed COVID protocols closely so we always felt safe. Every morning we had breakfast. The chef was outstanding. Make sure you eat an omelette and ask for a side of ham, it is a substantial piece of meat. We had the funeral on Oct. 20 and the hotel accommodated to our late leaving without question. It…
