Our Family Loved the spacious rooms, easy access to the parking area, pools and loved the pier. The fishing was great!!! The pool was nice ahd relaxing and I loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the water front. We rented a nice size suite for a fairly low price with a full size kitchen and dining table. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return and stay at Hunt's Castle and will refer this location to all our frien's and family.

As a pilot who travels the world , I looked for a place to chill down by the sea . Hunt's castle is right on the shore in a quiet street , has rooms watching the bay vista . Despite coming in August , it was really quiet , almost to the point that I thought I had the whole hotel to myself . I enjoyed the view , the very friendly staff , the hearty rooms that did not feel like those heartless chain hotels . It was all very quiet , very clean and was a pleasure to be there , watching the ocean , occasionally go dip in the spa or explore this gem city called Rockport . I highly recommend Hunt's castle if you wish a notch above the rest accomodation . I will surely come back soon . Thank you so much Mr. Patel for lovely time spent in your hotel !

The location of the hotel is awesome, especially if you enjoy fishing and relaxing. They are making improvements as it is an older hotel, which we have been coming here for the past 9 years and always keep coming back. Great pier, saltwater poll and just all around friendliness. Susan and Shirley in the office always want to assure your visit is pleasurable and Ken is doing his part in improvemetn and friendliness.

The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly and courteous. The waterview suites are very spacious and clean and comes with all everything you need for your getaway. Weather you want to fish on the lighted pier or just relax in the pool, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I have stayed at several locations in Rockport but this is by far my favorite and I'm looking forward to my next trip.

From the moment we got there and were greeted by the lovely Susan we were treated very, very well. The rates were good, the room was clean and all of the staff were very friendly and always said hi and asked how you were even if you were just passing by. The hotel also had a pizza party for the children on Friday buying drinks and pizza for them all! However, just as the MANY previous years this stay at Hunts was a fishing trip. The pier had very few lights that worked and worried me because of the visibly poor wiring and many exposed wires, as this was a family trip. All of this was no different from last years pier situation in which we were told that it would soon be fixed which we know now has not been handled. Despite the joyfull stay Susan created for us, the long

We stayed at HuntsCastle for 2 Nights... It was so awesome. The hotel was not that busy so the front desk upgraded us to a room with a view. It was so beautiful. The hotel also has its own pier. The pier is very well kept. We caught some good fish. The pool and hot tub were very clean. Our bed and the kids beds were comfortable. The hotel outside and inside was nice and clean. We really enjoyed our visit to this hotel. I would recommend Hunts Castle to everybody.

I have stayed with Hunt's Castle several time and have always had a great stay. The staff are very friendly and always very helpful. I was refered by a friend and it is the only place I will stay while visiting Rockport. I would also like to mention the fishing is the best I have ever experience in Rockport. We always come home with plenty of trout.

First of all, the pictures are very deceiving. My family of 4 stayed at hunts castle, first thing we noticed in our room, the water pressure for the shower very weak. We also had family go with us, which they stayed in another room. When they checked in, the floor was wet, called maintance, took care of situation. The toliet in their room kept running, when flushed. The stove in the room wasn't hooked up. Why have a stove in the room. So ended up moving them to another room which when they had to pay an additional $60. They were very upset about that, spoke to the manager and was making a story up about the stove having a note on it.( that it didnt work) That was a lie. Also made an excuse they had nowhere else to place the stove. We will never return here @ our next Rockport

Response from PAREDISE, Manager at Hunt's Castle Hotel
Responded Aug 3, 2010
I would like to respond to this complaint by first letting you know that we enjoyed the family as they were here. As you know maintenance on a Hotel is non-stop. The toilet running was never turned in to the front office untill the day we offered to move the guest. The family did check in as 2 people so they were given the 2 person special rate. As it turned out there were 2 people and many kids. When the lady came to the office with the complaint of the stove not being hooked up, front desk did offer to move the family to a large one bedroom suite at a discounted rate. They did have to pay a difference of $60 to move but the price difference in the room they chose without a kitchen and the room they moved to with a kitchen is double the price so they still got a terrific rate. Our web-site and our brochure clearly states that an efficiency room has no stove and suites have stoves. We did everything to try to please the family and I appologize your stay with us was not satifactory. We have made many changes and have satisfied many customers this summer.
