Stayed one night over Labor Day weekend for a staycation. Two adults, two teenagers. We had a great time. Excellent service. The hotel was very clean, the room was big and bright, plenty of supplies. The gym is terrific. We were celebrating a birthday and the room service staff surprised us with cake and champagne which I thought was a lovely gesture. The pool area was much less crowded than I had anticipated and we enjoyed watching the sunset from the pool deck. The hotel was nearly full due to a TCU game and a wedding, but it was well staffed so we had no problem with lines or getting prompt service from the valet, front desk, room service, etc. Note if you have a car, you have to valet because there is no self-park option.

Travel's getting harder and harder these days with COVID restrictions, so a staycation for our gender reveal was about all we could manage. Thankfully, the Omni made our stay a wonderful one! Despite all the corona modifications all hotels are having to make in Texas, they gave us a beautiful, recently-upgraded room on a high floor overlooking Ft. Worth. Everything had been meticulously sanitized, down to the robes and remote. We loved watching the metroplex's various 4th of July firework shows from our bedroom window. The bathroom was especially impressive - we're huge fans of the new glass shower doors! The gym was very well-equipped and clean, too. Thanks, Omni Ft. Worth, for making our special night extraordinary!

We were in town for a long weekend to celebrate my cousin's 50th birthday at Grace. The Omni was located just around the corner from the party venue. They even provided shuttle service which was a huge plus. We always travel with our fur babies and were so impressed with how accommodating all the staff was during our stay. Upon check in we asked if we could upgrade our reservation and they were able to get us upgraded to a suite with no problem at all. The Suite was spacious and comfortable. This was our first time staying at the Omni , but it definitely will not be our last stay. The location was great! The Staff went above and beyond and made our stay a wonderful experience.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary on Jan. 1. We always try to stay somewhere really nice, and in the past we’ve spent our anniversary at some of the best hotels in DFW, such as the Adolphus, the Hyatt Regency, and the Ashton. Let me tell you, folks, even though we paid substantially more than those places, the Omni Fort Worth is not even in the same league. This place is a Super 8 masquerading as a fine hotel.

Our “premier” room we paid extra for was tiny with a huge column, no doubt part of the building’s structure, smack in the middle. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were thin and flimsy. The refrigerator, which had been working fine when we came in, stopped working sometime overnight, leaving our drinks warm. When I opened a bottle of wine, we found there was no glassware, just a couple of paper coffee cups. Room service was only available at breakfast, so we had to do Doordash for dinner. When I tried to log in to the hotel’s WiFi, they wanted to charge $9. They charged $35 just to park overnight, an absolute outrage. I couldn’t believe we had paid so much money for this experience I could have enjoyed for $60 out on the interstate. At least the WiFi and parking would have been free.

I do want to give a shout out to the hotel staff, who were exceedingly friendly and nice. They’re not the problem. It’s the management and the owners, who are out to shortchange the customers. So many other reviews here make the very same complaints, and clearly nothing changes, so I don’t buy these responses the management puts up that they take our reviews seriously. They clearly don’t care.

Instead, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. There are lots of nice hotels within a few blocks of this dog that will charge you a lot less for a far more enjoyable experience.

I’ve stayed at a few Omni Hotels around the country and this one was disappointing. Valet was good, quick, and attentive. Check in attendant might have been human with a pulse but no personality. Option of having a contact-less stay during Covid-Era translates into
having no cleaning of our room. We opted to have our room cleaned. Only paper cups
in room for $200 bottles of wine from the attached Bob’s Steak and Chophouse was subpar to say the lease. We had to ask if we could bring the wine glasses to our room. HVAC is schizophrenic and you’ll notice hot and cold spells throughout the night in the room. Very quiet so that was a plus, though the hotel felt largely deserted. No hotel concierge to speak of and no hotel transportation existed for transport to and from dinner. This isn’t a deal breaker but in a hotel chain with the Omni’s reputation, should be a given. On a Saturday afternoon, no where in the hotel
to have a drink and watch college football. Very disappointing! Further, employee said maybe the pool bar is open (On Oct 31 mind you) but you’ll have to go to third floor to check; it wasn’t. Location, valet and joined to Bob’s are the only draws to this hotel. Unless those three magnetize you to this hotel, I’d fine another.

We stayed during a busy weekend. The hotel is nice but it took 10-15 minutes almost every time we wanted our car because valet was so busy and there is no self-parking option. I tried to use the text option to request our car so we didn't have to wait downstairs but it was disabled the entire weekend. I prefer to park myself.

Also, it's unbelievable to me that a hotel as expensive as the Omni does not provide refrigerators in the room. Most of the inexpensive hotels provide refrigerators - we paid 3 times what we would have at the Hampton Inn or other comparable hotels that have refrigerators and microwaves, yet the Omni had no refrigerator. The hotel needs to provide refrigerators. There is a 'wine cooler' but a sign on it that it is not cold enough for refrigeration. They should remove those and put in refrigerators that everyone can use. Microwaves would be nice, also, but refrigerators are basic these days. I will not stay there again.

I decided to take a staycation for my first time staying at Omni Ft. Worth. If you're a fan of a country atmosphere, this is the hotel for you. Upon entering the hotel lobby, you'll see the decor of throughout that's gives you that southwestern feel. They don't call Ft. Worth "Cowtown" town for nothing as it's in close proximity to The Stockyards and across the street from the convention center.

As an Omni Black Tier Select Guest, I was not impressed with th check-in as it took me about 25 mins before being able to do so since they only had 2 front desk agents working. There was a long line to the entrance door of people waiting to check in. As I've been able to do at other Omni hotels of my room key being on the board for a quick ability to go up to my room, that option wasn't available for some reason. The gentleman who helped was nice , which I told him it was my first time staying at the hotel.

As a Black Tier Select Guest, a double upgraded room is given, if available. I was given a top floor that had a decent view, but was hoping to have downtown view instead of a south facing view of I-30. The room was not an upgrade, as I was hoping. Unfortunately, It was the actual room type that I booked. It was clean and updated. I got settled in the room before going back down to the lobby to inquire about getting a late checkout. A different front desk agent helped me, which I explained to her about if I should have received a double upgrade due to my select guest status. She said yes and saw that there was availability for me to have received the upgrade. I told her for some reason I wasn't given the upgrade, which she offered to give me the upgraded room, but I declined since I was already settled in my current room and didn't want to gp through the hassle of switching rooms.

I had drinks at the hotel bar called Whiskey and Rye, which maintained the country atmosphere as the hotel lobby did. There was live music by a guitarist, TV's to watch sports, and a pool table. It seemed to be the meeting spot for numerous hotel guests who were in town for a conference. The drinks were good, but on the pricey side.

The next morning, I woke up to the door across the hall closing hard several times, which I got up to look out the peephole to see housekeeping going in and out of the room. She didn't have the courtesy to not let the door slam closed each time. I know other guests in close proximity were annoyed as well.

I don't know if I'll stay at this Omni property again as I didn't feel the treated as well as other Omni Hotel properties, such as Omni Frisco and Omni Dallas.

I was there for an accounting conference in late October. My experience with the hotel was pretty good. My only complaint - and to me it’s a major one - was that the pool and hot tub area closed promptly at 10 PM each evening. Which was not at all smart considering many of us walked around most of the day and needed somewhere to rest our feet and to soak away our aches after long days at the convention center right across the street. Other than that, the hotel met my needs being convenient to everything and within walking distance to a lot. Open your hotel and pool later than 10 PM in you will write a five out of five!

It is a great hotel with a great reputation, but things aren’t “great” anywhere right now. I thought they overstated the pool availability...which bothered me more than some—because we went for the pool, specifically. Rooms are nice, location is perfect.
