Not a bad place but the bath house is in very poor shape. There is a review from last month that mentioned hair in the shower stall...that hair is still there, so that tells you no cleaning. There are only single faucets for the showers and the temperature is Luke warm at best. The toilets were okay. Flushed fine. The whole area needs updating. Looks to have been built back in the 50's and that's where it had stayed. If you don't need to use the bath house by all means pull in. It's only $38 a night.

We used to love the campground but it has gotten terrible. We were told we got a discount for our group but we all ended up paying a different amount ranging from $130 to $170. Shouldn’t they all be the same considering we all had the same type of site? The bathroom was discusting. From Wednesday to Sunday there was no cleaning done. And they say they clean it multiple times a day? FUNNY. The same trash and hair was all over the shower for the whole visit. One of the kids with us got a piece of glass in their foot from being in the pool. The playground is run down and the pool isn’t all that nice. I’m sorry but if you say you clean the bathrooms multiple times, DO IT. I have no clue how they pass the health rules or whatever. It’s dark and the stalls are so short that you can see over them. So are the showers. You make eye contact with the person next to you the whole time. Not to mention the fact that you shower with a ton of bugs. Spiders come down from the ceiling on you the whole time. Spider webs everywhere. Trash is all through the shower too. The same shower curtains have been there for years and how much you wanna bet they have never been cleaned? It used to be decent but we aren’t going back there. Don’t waste your money! It’s a trash hole. Oh and you can’t forget the fact the power went out because it was full. Shouldn’t you be able to accommodate all the sites you have at a campground? They can’t because it’s trash. The power was out for over 12 hours and they told us the wouldn’t give us our money back because we could still use the pool. That pool is not worth $40. When we pay for electricity we want to have it. We didn’t pay for primitive camping we payed for electricity and we didn’t even have that. Don’t go there unless you just want to feel gross the whole weekend and be majorly disappointed.

Wife and I just spent two days/nights there and the owners are extremely friendly, as are the seasonal campers. The heated pool was very inviting and relaxing, quite refreshing to jump into after setting up our Time-Out camper. The pool is open till dark too! The game room has a few machines out of order but enough working to still have fun and a jukebox with a wide variety to choose from (70's-2000's music). Small store but ice is available along with some snacks and such. Only a few miles from stores and area attractions including Jean-Bonnet Tavern, Coral Caverns cave, Koontz Coffee Pot (1927 hi-way attraction, 2 stories tall and 18'in dia.), Shawnee State park, Fort Bedford and 14 covered bridges all over 10 years old! Sleepy Hollow is a very nice campground conveniently located to everything, check it out for yourself.

I have been at Shawnee Sleepy Hollow for years. This is the most relaxing campground. Its very peaceful. as far as game room you could of asked if you did not know where everything is, its also on the map when you check in we got one take a look and read it. as far as TV and Wi-Fi get real its camping not the city. if you want that stuff stay home. It is a very friendly place, and like all restrooms whether its a restaurant or rest stop anywhere there is a restroom you always get them hogs that don't flush, and surprising a lot of them are the women's restrooms I would think men ha but I was fooled its actually women. so take a look around and you will see. next time get a luxury campground to supply you with all of your amenities.

As members of Passport America, we stayed in many campgrounds. This one rates as one of the worst places we were ever at. First, I would love to know where all the supposed amenities are, like jukebox, pinball, gift shop pavilion, tables and entertainment. We pulled in, and there were no signs where to go or where to find the office. There was a man in a pick up who just stared at us,but did not tell us we were in fact, going in the out driveway. We later found out this was the owner. We should have known that it would not be a good experience when we saw the big "For Sale" sign on the campground sign. Our request for a 'full hook up' was granted, however, their idea of full is no tv, no wireless, no sewer. We got power and water. And a list of 'don'ts'. OK, we are part of a discount camping service, but, that doesn't mean you should get terrible. If you happen to end up here, do not use the showers and bathrooms! There is RUST on everything and everything is falling apart. My hubby flushed the toilet and the handle fell in! The next day, it was still there! No paper towels, no hand dryer, nothing but dirty, dark, damp and dreary!

First off if the person which had written this comment bothered to read the listing on Pas Port America they would have seen exactly the hook-ups we offer. the entrance is also the exit to the campground, please see sign on fence at entrance and do not block the entrance. See Big sign in front of the building showing game room and office, office entrance is through the back porch. where you have a Ramp not stairs, access to game room is through the back porch or through the front left door. game equipment foot balls, base ball, basketball, shuffleboard, horseshoe etc is available at office for free w/deposit of $20 this is so that our equipment come back. their is no sewage on site but we do offer a honey wagon service on Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat Between 12:00 and 5:00, every thing is well maintained, we make several cleaning rounds to bathhouse were sorry that some patrons can't flush the toilet which you find at all campgrounds. Our roads are 14 ft wide and graveled easy back in sites. sites range between 65 ft to 85 ft in length. And yes the campground is for sale through Remax but the grounds are well maintained.
