It was a family trip, and I stayed one night in February 2020, which they charged 1500 INR to me. Pros of Broadway Hotel 1. 5 minutes walking distance from Police Bazar Center Point. 2. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Hot water facility was available in the bathroom. 3. wifi worked fine for me. Wifi Signal was strong. A decent LCD TV also worked fine for me. 5. Table, chairs, and wardrobe are available in the room. 6. The hotel staff responded immediately when I asked for any help. Like, add an extra pillow, change bed sheet. Cons of Broadway Hotel 1. Hotel boys and other staff do not understand English. They can communicate only in their local language. In my case, the staff knew only Hindi. 2. The room floor was a little bit dirty and no sandals in the room. 3. It is supposed to clean and empty trash box and ashtray but it was full of garbage and cigarette ash respectively. 4. No lift facility available. You have to climb the stairs to get into the room which is an energy killer, particularly for the third or above the floor.

We stayed 3 nights in 3 different rooms, prices are Rs 1890, Rs2140 and Rs 2700. We didn’t liked any one of them. Dirty blanket without cover and old furniture is everywhere. They use a bell for the attendance which got horrible loud sound. You can’t sleep after 6am because of the stupid noisy calling bell. We went Shillong in the peak time so we had to stay there without any other option. Room Service guys are very cooperative and Thanks to Mr. Sanjay Datt (Receptionist) for your support.

It's a nice hotel located in the middle of the city. The hotel provides all the basic amenities and is very much affordable. Buffet food is very delicious and they serve mostly Chinese. Very famous police bazar is just a minute away from hotel.

This is centrally located mid-range hotel and maybe that is why it's not worth for it's price. The room that we got had no shower and curtains were filthy dirty. Fan was noisy and TV was ancient (didn't even bother to turn it on). Manager Mr Dutta told us different time at checkin and charged more during checkout. We had to put our foot down on the pricing. Beware of what you negotiate on. Housecleaning staff didn't clean the room even on reminding again and again. Food they serve is decent and there was hot water in washroom and working staff was polite.

The entire service staff including managers are very well behaved & cooperative but lacked human touch as they strictly mean business. Rooms are not so spacious but is okay given that it was single rooms and the price can be compared to a budget or standard category but it might be a little heavy on your pocket if one goes for double or luxury rooms. The location is quite strategic & the rooms come with all the basic amenities. The single rooms are not spacious at all and the hotel remains fully packed throughout. Food is delicious & quite affordable. Overall it is pocket friendly if you are looking for on-the-go standard category like accomodation & would not like to compromise on quality. Something that bothered me was that if you are looking for discounts or a specialised attention or any kind of incentives/upgrades, you might face some kind of disappointment
