Terrible experience. Dirty, cold and very dated room. Was staying 5 nights but was telephoned on night 2 saying the hotel was being closed and everyone had to move out. Complete chaos. Staff were knocking guests doors late in the night to inform them. All other accommodation in the area was either fully booked or very expensive so difficult to find an alternative .

My husband and I come to Beaconsfield frequently to see family the location is lovely and plenty to do in the town and lovely restaurants including browns that wasn't there the last time we visited Chris on reception was very nice and welcoming and we had a lovely interaction with him beside the hotels front door being damaged he assured that the door was locked of a night time as I was concerned it was also a little noisy from other guests but the rooms were tidy and the bed was comfortable

It is well worth the effort to try a stay here either for business or leisure. It's location gives you easy access to the M40 and also the surrounding countryside and its visitor attractions. Though it may appear externally a little dated the rooms are all well kept and clean.

I was given room next to reception so there was lots of noise from people checking in and out etc. I asked to be moved but was refused and had to spend the night in a noisy room. Very poor customer service focused on maximising profit whilst neglecting customer.

Room was clean and comfortable bed. Hotel has no lift so bear that in mind if you have trouble carrying a suitcase upstairs. Bathroom had no heating so was chilly to use but other than that it was comfortable. Reception staff very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is in need of updating. The breakfast box I bought during my stay on the 13th January contained a pain au chocolat with a best before date of the 21/12/23! It was very stale. I have a photo of the wrapper.

The reception staff were, as have been previously, very helpful and welcoming, though we arrived slightly early there was no issue with us accessing our rooms which were up to there usual clean standards. Plenty of free car parking on the site just remember to input your reg at reception.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel. Needs a complete refurbishment. Freezing bathrooms, uncomfortable beds and noisy. Evidence of water leaks on ceiling and walls. TV’s are old and could do with updating.

Tiny little heater in the room that even on max made no difference. Kept waking freezing cold in the night. The bathroom has no heating whatsoever so be prepared for that. Bathroom wasn’t properly clean there was dirt under the edge of the toilet that hadn’t been cleaned for months. Well overdue a refurb and being in a nice area you would expect a lot more. Already noted to not stay here again, I’ll drive further and stay anywhere else
