We stayed for one night before moving into our new home in Leonardtown. The hotel and staff were great but the price seems a bit steep. We also heard late arriving guests (about 2:00a late) banter all night in the hallway and next door. Not good.

The online booking will result in a high service fee - a third party has apparently set up a fake page to direct online bookings. Call hotel directly. Otherwise, this is an adequate hotel. Towels are see through, toilet had to be flushed by pulling chain, lock didn't work properly, need to run shower for 10 minutes to get water hot. But, the bed was comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants.

After leaving a Wyndham hotel in Lexington Park within 30 min after check in, we found this hotel after driving around for over an hour. 1,000% improvement. The Lobby was Beautiful, Desk Clerk Khianna was Superb and was helpful. Our room was very nice, & clean. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Was worth the extra drive from Lexington Park

Room is large and beds are clean and comfortable. Needed an extra blanket and only brought one for the two beds in the room. The bath tub is just dangerous to use with a tile step to get into the tub. There was no shower curtain to use for the hand held sprayer so one must sit in the tub to take a seated shower. A standard height wall mounted shower and shower curtain should be standard for all their rooms. Overall, the hotel could use some tender loving care. Remove the balloon stuck in the lobby ceiling and all dead plants should be removed from the facility. The breakfast container need a good cleaning as all had an abundance of finger prints and dirt. Those little things leave one with the feeling that no one is keeping up with the place.

Were there to attend my granddaughter play at her school. the biggest issue was that there was no hot water. reception desk check the boiler and said it was fine - still no hot water. We asked the manager, Heather Harrison, to call us two different times and still haven't received a call back. Lights were out in the bathroom, the door to our refrigerator was broken. The coffee was cold. Could have dealt with the minor issues but no hot water and no return call was a deal breaker.

The hotel stay and room was nice. The down fall is the breakfast. It was terrible, cold, and bland. Just think about an employee running to the local grocery store and finding random items and calling it breakfast. There is a nice breakfast spot near the hotel. The area around the hotel is nice with history and local businesses

Had several issues during recent stay-drove down from NY for a anniversary party in the immediate area. Hair dryer did not work-when you turned it on, it sparked and smoked. I called front desk and was told not to use it-I was there for an affair so the answer didn't sit well w/me. After complaining, they changed our room but then locked us out of the old room so we couldn't move our belongings. The toilet didn't flush in the new room which I asked staff to address while we were out. Unfortunately, when we returned, it still wasn't working which required another phone call and visit from maintenance to finally fix. The final inconvenience was the TV remote not working. The room across from us happened to be opened (not sure why it was left open the whole time we were there) so I changed remotes. Left the batteries out so the staff knew to replace. The room was comfortable, but you could tell the upkeep was lacking-the shower curtain in our room had rust stains along the bottom. I know things happen, but the attitude towards the issues was disappointing-more along the lines of a much cheaper motel chain than a "hotel".

Just spent one night here. Outside of the building looks really nice. Once inside you see that it is in a state of decline. Was probably really nice years ago. Our room was on the second floor on the rear of the building. It was quiet and the a/c worked well. Mattress was comfortable and the room was "surface clean." All fabrics such as bed cover, chair and ottoman, etc were threadbare. The biggest disappointment was that the bathroom door was warped or something that prevented it from closing all the way. We reported that to the desk clerk who acted surprised but I think this is a longstanding problem because they have a mounted doorstop on the inside bottom of the door that would keep the door from being opened the rest of the way from the outside. Why not repair or replace the door? Quite tacky in my opinion. Bathroom tiles were surface clean but grout lines and seams not so much. There was an exhaust fan that worked which is a plus. Since the room rates are comparable to the major chains I expected a better overall situation.

Hotel was okay. For the cost of the accommodation, I expected a lot more attention when we checked in and knowledge of restaurants and availability. Restrooms were out of service and the continental breakfast the next morning only offered low fat/healthy food options. Skim milk, fat-free buttery spread, etc. Not very appetizing for a supposedly high rated hotel and being on vacation. Don't plan to stay again.

Our room was near the Ice Machine and elevator and heard every fill up and ding of the arrival of the elevator. Our door's dead bolt didn't lock, the room had a strange clicking sound during the night, the towels were rough, and, finally, the "breakfast" was more like a morning snack - we went elsewhere.
