We travel really a lot and 90% of feedbacks I write in case hotel or staff makes us crazy. However, this is one of those ten excited feedbacks. Hotel located in 200 years old building with vintage doors, beds and everything around. You could easily feel yourself in Istanbul of XIX century looking at Bosphor directly from your room window. Staff is amazing friendly and flexible. They will help you with everything you need and will help you without any doubts. Special thanks to Enes who makes our stay memorable and full of positive memories. Definitely recommend you the place.

We checked into this hotel for a 2 night stay and we paid approx. £60 per night. We were shown the room by the night porter. The room was so small we instantly asked for a room change and we were told to raise this with the manager in the morning. I raised this with the manager in the morning and asked for a different room to which he confirmed we only had one more night left and then he stated he had no rooms available which was a lie as we seen people checking out meaning their rooms would have been available, so we did no feel valued as we only had one night left so he couldn’t be bothered to accommodate this request. This shouldn’t matter if we had one night or 10 nights. The room was so small we had to store our luggage on the desk, the shower had so much mould which made…

We were lured to HHK hotel by their photos and they turned to be extremely accurate! Nice staff and great views in an old Ottoman mansion it is an oasis in a very run-down but authentic part of downtown Istanbul. Great roof top lounge, decent breakfasts but smallish rooms as is typical in Sultan Ahmet. Very enjoyable place and great value for the money. If you want a place off the beaten track this is it!

Some places you simply never forget. This is definitely one of them. Words cannot describe the experience we had in this unique hotel in this eternal city. Let's give it a try anyway: Mesmerizing views over the Golden Horn, a beautiful Ottoman decor, historical sights in the immediate vicinity, friendly people, a fantastic breakfast with plenty of veggies and local delicacies...this place is one in a million and I wish I was there now. Actually I wish I never left.

Be careful with this place - it took us almost 5 months, many calls to a booking company and my bank including international one's and a few support tickets at both to solve issues with this hotel, I wish the management of this place to be more respectful with their guests. Here's what happened. We planned our trip to Istanbul in December, we knew it would be a little cool and rainy so we were looking for hotels with sauna only to get warm a bit in the evenings. This hotel was listing a sauna so we picked it and when we arrived our first question was how we can use a sauna. They said they did not have one, they offered a different room with hamam with no heater and without the view we paid for. Our suggestion was to stay a night or two and just check out and move to a different…

The hotel is nestled on a hill overlooking the the Golden Horn! Many of the major attractions are within a short walk; metro is also very close by, as well as buses and ferries, should you decide to venture out to explore the Bosphorus. The staff is super friendly, helpful and just pleasant to be around. The room is a bit outdated, which is no big deal. The view is lovely. However, the windows, light switches, door handles table stops are dirty in an obvious way. The bed cover and decor pillows are also very dirty! When advised the cleaning staff, they, unfortunately replaced the one cover with another dirty one... Also, there’s a draft In the room, so nights can be a bit cold. If you’re light sleeper, the hotel provides ear plugs as there’s a metro bridge right…

Great hotel, location is perfect, Amazing views, comfortable beds, excellent facilities, brilliant staff available and wanting to help out with everything. The receptionist Ennes was fantastic and really informative. Helped get us set up with maps, tours, food, travel tips and time management. He definitely goes above and beyond for the guests and we wouldn't have seen as much of the city without his help.

We arrived when it was cold, wet and windy. So not a great introduction to Istanbul. Thank goodness I arranged a, well priced, transfer with the hotel as I may have got concerned if I had just hopped in a cab and they brought me here, It is a really difficult place to review as you always have to remind your self how much it cost. I don't think I have stayed in such a drafty hotel room, so keeping the room warm was a challenge. If we had arrived on a nice warm day this review may have been different. Also, our room was next to minarets with speakers that call the faithful to prayer regularly (from 5am), which can be a shock when you arrived at 1.30am. Breakfasts are very basic but do the job. Two separate friends recommended this place as I would not naturally choose it for…
