This place doesnt deserve the bad press it has been getting. I nearly cancelled because of some of the reviews but so glad I didn't. Yes it is a bit dated and possibly not 5 star but lots of great things about this hotel. We stayed in room 202 which is a 2 bed suite. It was huge compared to some places we have stayed in and very clean. 2 great sized double rooms with lovely comfy beds. 2 toilets and lovely big lounge area. Perfect for a family with teens. We werent falling over each other for once. Room cleaned and beds made daily and towels changed. Lovely and warm at night too. Pool area and sauna clean and a nice place to relax after lots of walking around Budapest. Nice hot sauna and jacuzzi. TV in 3 rooms (although not much to watch). Yes you pay city tax as you do most

I booked this through my travel agent --- neither of us had been to Budapest. The hotel itself is very nice, clean, little kitchenette, a "spa", and helpful front desk staff. There's an attached restaurant, Chess, which I wouldn't recommend. The hotel is at the end of a narrow, long, long, street. So if you're walking from one end to the other, it's a LONG walk and the name of the street changes in the middle for 1-2 blocks, which is very confusing. The streets parallel to it seem a bit more lively. Of course, that does mean that it's quiet here. And if you go to the other end of the street, you are close to transportation --- just took a while to figure that out. The "spa" is a nice pool and a hot tub --- which is quite a treat for a traveler. I might go back --- but crucial

First things first.... The location - it's opposite a sex shop for starters and was definitely on the rough part of the street! The interior - The reception and seating area is actually really modern and quite nice to sit in. The swimming pool - it's ok. Feels a bit tacky for a supposedly 5 star hotel, so they really need to work on this area. The room - My phone tried to change the word room to doom with predictive text... My phone is not far off there at all! The room was a 2 bedroom suite and honestly didn't feel clean in the slightest. There was marks on the bed covers.... I don't want to know what these marks were, and they were not changed at all throughout our 4 night stay. There was also snot, yes snot smeared on one of the bedroom curtains! The interior was

The furniture in the room isn't the most modern but EVERYTHING worked and most important the entire hotel was quiet, comfy, and provided he most excellent service by a most forthcoming staff who did the utmost in a friendly manner to supply travel arrangements, bookings and directions. Everything was super clean and entire atmosphere was calm and efficient. It is far from the madding crowd so if you want to feel pampered, relaxed and serviced choose this wonderful hotel.

We wanted to have a lovely luxurious and romantic weekend in Budapest so we went on to a very popular booking site and booked it, I will say I was disappointed by the scam once we got to the hotel and not only would the booking site not do anything, the hotel was nothing like the pictures (check my photos). Everything was very old (maybe it was luxurious in the 80’s), the room looked like a 3 star hotel max that was 30 years old, I stayed in a 3 star hotel in Budapest and it was better. The pool was nothing like in the pictures they provide either, the cleaning lady did not refill the one bottle of free shampoo and body cream at all, the towels were old wrinkly and flawed, the bed was terrible, the pool was dirty and with a weird schedule(who closes the pool down for half a day

I fell for this Priceline scam. It is an apartment hotel at best a 2 or 3 star. I am baffled why does Priceline and queens position it as a five star and set up wrong expectations? My sofa in the room needed maintenance and had to live without internet for a day in my short stay of 2 days. The decor of room was old .... Only saving grace, good staff and house keeping.the location is also reason ably good. At least for me it is end of price line bookings and their deals.

We spent five nights at this fine establishment in the heart of Pest. Well appointed suite with living space as well as the expected bed and bathroom. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are clean if a little small for a hotel of this size. The staff are super helpful.

Stayed here for 4 days last month whilst on a short break, Hotel was very centrally located with easy access to all the attractions . The hotel is beautifully appointed and the bed room was excellent with a small kitchen and washer dryer in the bathroom. The leisure centre was nice with a good Jacuzzi. The gym had all the equipment you needed for a good work out and was very quiet. I did not dine in the hotel as I prefer to eat out in local restaurants but did have a couple of drinks in the courtyard which was very pleasant and not very expensive. All the staff I can into contact with were very pleasant and courteous . If you are looking for a short break with a bit of luxury then you will not go wrong here

Very beautiful hotel located in the city center. The suite is very clean and quite specious with a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom with decent amenities, and a kitchen. We even have a balcony overlooking the street. There a courtyard in the middle that gives the hotel an elegant touch. The receptionists and staff were all very sweet and courteous. The hotel also has a beautiful indoor pool and gym. Breakfast is superb with a wide selection of food, bread, fruit, and freshly-made juice. The hotel is located in the city and it's quite convenient for us to walk around, get some groceries, and get to the bus/metro stations. Although it's close to the main busy street, it's located in a smaller alley so the hotel is actually quiet. We liked the hotel a lot and would recommend
