Stunning views greet you from this hotel. A bit dated but spotlessly clean and good aircon. Beautiful pool by the bar. Great ice cream counter. Enough choices in restaurant desserts were fabulous with wine beer and soft drinks on tap with evening meal. Entertainment good 3 evenings a week. Above all staff are so friendly. Hotel up a short very steep hill. Limone is very pretty and Malcesine 20 mins across the lake. A very comfortable stay in a stunning part of the lake.

The Royal Village Hotel has a fantastic view of the Lake as it’s up on the hill. Do not let the hill put you off even though it’s a bit of a climb 🥵 we did it most days/nights. All you have to do is take a seat after walking up from Limone… after a little while start the climb.. just take your time x Myself, Husband and Daughter had a wee complaint but we did it as it’s about 15 minutes walk from Limone and keeps you fit. The Hotel is absolutely spotless. The beds are comfortable and the air con is great! All the staff are very helpful and nothing is a problem. The food is also good 👍 if you like your Kellogg’s bring them along as the flakes are not the same. That’s my only gripe, otherwise we had the best Holiday.. We ❤️ it! 🍋 Entertainments team were great! Thank you Santiago and your team for making our holiday a great memory 😘 😘 😘 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Lots of love from Tommy, Frances & Caitlyn aka DJ Caitlyn in the Bay 🎶

Nice hotel set back on the hills above Limone, there were great views from the pools. Seen people moan about the fact that the hotel is effectively on 2 sites with a road in the middle, there was barely any traffic on the road due to it being so narrow. The staff were freindly and very helpful, the food was decent and reasonably varied. The hotel is by modern standards dated, but that being said, our room was more than adequate and everything in it worked well. Also seen moans on here about the hotel being on a slightly steep hill, whilst this is true, they do run a shuttle bus to and from the resort centre, we enjoyed the picturesque walk up next to the river and waterfalls. We were there hiking so didn't spend much time round the pools, but there appeared to be an abundance of sunbeds which negated any need to get up at 6am to stake your claim. All in all I would be happy to recommend the Royal Village hotel, I had absolutely no problem with it at all, my rating is 4.5 stars, the decor losing it half a mark.

Just returned from a week at the Royal Village. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having read some of the previous reviews I was a bit apprehensive but we had a lovely room with side lake view as ordered. It appeared to have been recently updated and was very pleasant. We certainly enjoyed the food. I think the salad buffet was one of the best we have experienced. So much choice and variety. We were even given some lovely salad with some wine when we arrived late in the evening because our plane was diverted. The Maitre D was particularly welcoming and always greeted us like old friends and found us a table in our preferred area of the restaurant. It was much appreciated. The reception staff were all friendly and very helpful. There was a supermarket a couple of minutes walk away and also a shop selling a good range of local products. We bought most of our presents to take home there. Nice to support a local co operative. Thanks Royal village for a super week.

Basic room need a bit of upgrading. The only place to charge phones is in toilet. Other sockets dont work as our charger pins are not fitting in 3 pins sockets. Room smells damp. Hotel is massive but our building seems empty as even the stair lights are off. Will update if food any good during the stay. 80/20 view. We booked as lake view. Which we see if we look right side only. It is actually mountain view.

Just returned from a 7 night stay in this hotel. The hotel is up a pretty steep hill from the lake but there is a shuttle bus. We stayed in the main building just along from reception. The view from the room was amazing but I wouldn't like to stay in it in the summer due to being over the bar area. Reception staff were great and always there for help and advice. The hotel was always clean and tidy. The only thing that let the hotel down was the carvery in the dinning room, not much of a choice. The cold buffet was always better stocked. We would definitely stay here again if we were in that area.

Friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever met. Good selection in the buffet. Piano bar cosy and fun. Bed linen and towels chaged daily and the whole place is spotlessly clean. Ernest in the restaurant and Michele the shuttle bus driver were so helpful to us with our limited mobility. Will be having a return visit!

A very good hotel with good views over the lake. Food is a buffet service and of a good standard whilst catering for a wide range of tastes. The staff were very helpful with packed breakfast and dinner options when on trips that either started early or finished late.

We stayed for a week in September. Absolutely stunning location. Check in was very quick. Rooms very good with a balcony and a lake view. Room cleaned and new towels every day. Hotel is up the hill which is why you get the stunning view and is about 5-10minutes walk to the centre of Limone. There is a steep hill but if your able bodied it should be no problem. Hotel also runs a minibus to and back to the hotel. Think it's about €1.50. limone is a lovely place to walk about and also boats to different towns. All staff were very pleasant. Supermarket a 2 minutes walk from the hitel. Food was buffet style with free wine and beer which we enjoyed and desserts were amazing. We had one visit to the Italian restaurant and found the food was excellent. 2 swimming pools outside to enjoy the great weather and also an indoor heated pool. We would go back in an instant.
