An outstanding boutique hotel. First class service- the staff without exception, genuinely wanted to make our stay fabulous. We don’t normally eat in Hôtel restaurants but the dinner and breakfast were excellent. The views were also breathtaking. We were very pleased to be 5 mins away from Positano which was very overpriced and heaving with tourists even in October! There was a regular, free shuttle bus from the hotel to Positano and priana which had some lovely local restaurants and a great cocktail bar down the steps from the church. I would highly recommend this hotel and will look forward to returning.

What a wonderful place to stay! The views are amazing, the service was top notch, and the location was convenient. They provide a shuttle service to both Positano and Praiano. The restaurant served outstanding food. The staff were always helpful and happy. We wish we could have stayed longer!

A beautiful hotel on an interesting bend in the landscape so you get great views from here. However, it is ridiculously expensive for what it is. The food is average, at best, and they had not told us that the pool would not be open in May. We had a great time on the Amalfi coast, and luckily had our own car so we could explore, but this hotel is charging far too much for what it is. I guess that this is probably true of all the hotels in this area, but it remains the case nevertheless.

What an outstanding hotel in the majestic Amalfi Coast. Fulvia and the entire staff go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is perfect in every way. The entire property is immaculate. The location is absolutely ideal to go all over the coast. The views are breathtaking! The rooms are all beautifully appointed. The spa is a huge bonus after a long day exploring. Breakfast was perfect. Do not miss the opportunity to spend at least one evening dining in the hotel restaurant. This restaurant should be rated with the highest Michelin stars! Truly the best kept secret in Praiano! Overall A++++ experience for our four night stay! With gratitude Tony & Patty

The best hotel to stay in the Amalfi Coast! The hotel is extremely close to Positano and the main town of Praiano, the hotel offers a frequent shuttle bus which is very convenient. The rooms and hotel itself is extremely clean with new rooms and furnishings. The hotel staff were amazing and very hospitable! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast!

We have been at the Piccolo Sant’Andrea Hotel for a we. A small paradise between Positano and Praiano. Most part of the rooms are facing the see with a spectacular view, you have the feeling that you can dive in to the see from your terrace. The staff is very kind and the waiter are experienced and professional. We spent the dinner at the restaurant and the food was amazing. We strongly recommend this Hotel. Lucia

We begrudgingly re-booked a stay after COVID delayed our originally planned visit to Italy for 2 years. I previously left a harsh review regarding the hotel’s policy and communication during the chaos of 2020. And I am still not happy they would not accommodate a refund as dozens of other hotels all over the world did for me, but I am glad their policy forced my hand as we were going to abandon our Amalfi dreams entirely and Piccolo SanAndrea completely redeemed itself. The property is gorgeous with nonstop breathtaking views off the cliff. The staff is an absolute delight. The bar staff got chummy with me when I had their backs with a rather silly ticketing system - you’ll wind up getting a lot of one-off receipts for drinks vs running a tab. The bar manager is a rad dude. The pool is quite small and that dated rubber bouncy floor style, but oh my the view. And the service and food poolside was exquisite. And the magical Amalfi charm was in effect as we made many friends over the course of the day, all of us eventually scrapping our plans to just hang out poolside. Get there early as there are very limited chairs and they fill up quick - by 11 or so people were turned away. Staff was excellent at arranging transport. Be careful walking in, especially in heels and late at night, as the entrance is a steep driveway. Driving in is not for faint of heart (then again if you can manage Amalfi Drive you shouldn’t sweat it). We got the panoramic room and the balcony is next level and well worth the rate (though beware, it is a bathtub inside with a non-private shower outside). I loved using the outdoor shower (as a man, in my swim trunks, much more convenient than for a woman). Our other hotels on this trip were much more basic rooms at much more expensive rates at some of the higher profile properties in the area. But this was our favorite. In the end I am glad they didn’t refund our original stay.

Stayed in this hotel this past September. Paid a ridiculous amount to stay at this hotel. I have no idea how they arrived at a 5 Star rating. Room was dark and buggy. Ants were all over the floor of our room. Patio area offered a beautiful view but was too buggy to spend any time out there or even open the patio door. Hotel staff was rude and unaccommodating. Whenever a shuttle or ride was booked it never came. Was also initially overcharged $800 by this hotel and none of the staff was able to credit my credit card until I had to take matters up with my credit card company. Whenever we had questions or an issue, the staff would conveniently disappear into the office behind the front desk. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This hotel doesn’t even come close to 5 stars!

Stayed here with my girlfriend for 3 nights, second week of October. The hotel is halfway between Positano and Priano. The Hotel is beautiful, and staff are super friendly. The indoor pool is absolutely beautiful and also has a spa. The hotel restaurant has some amazing food. It's a very romantic hotel setting, not a good fit for a family vacation. It is about a 10 minute car ride to Positano. The hotel shuttle service was great when we were there, not sure how they would manage if the hotel was very busy though. Its a 40 euro taxi ride each way - to Positano. Need to consider this if you are not planning eating every night at the hotel restaurant. Photos in other posts are very accurate - the hotel ones and the guests ones. Getting too the hotel from Naples is a 130 euros private car ride. The hotel assisted with obtaining a private car service. I would not recommend driving through the Amalfi coast.

This was our second visit to Hotel Piccolo Sant'Andrea and we loved it just as much as our first time here. The views are absolutely stunning - overlooking Praiano on one side of the hotel and Positano on the other! Our room was just gorgeous - large, beautifully appointed and spotless. The staff could not have been more helpful or professional - everyone we interacted with couldn't have been nicer. The meals were incredible - delicous ingrediants and wonderful preparation. The location is so perfect - you are in this absolutely stunning and gorgeous place with breathtaking views of the Amalfi coast all around you, that is less than 5 minutes from the bustle of Positano. The shuttle is perfect for taking you back and forth for shopping or dining, a day at the beach or just sightseeing. Everything about this hotel is exceptional and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an absolutely magical vacation on the Amalfi coast.
