Waking up and opening the shutters to see the ocean breaking against the rocks, is a wonderful feeling. Our views were spectacular. The room comfy, the pool superb, and beach area (for snorkelling amongst the fish) Staff were great, friendly, and a decent breakfast.

We had a wonderful three nights in Grand Hotel San Pietro. The hotel was like an oasis after the wonderful madness of Sorrento, Amalfi and Positano. The view from our room was breathtaking both day and night. We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Stopped here on the way up to Almafi. Wish we stayed longer. Hotel was bright and cheerful. Clean rooms, spectacular views. Beach was awesome. There is beach chairs with umbrellas. The beach staff was great. Breakfast was included with our room and was fantastic, especially with the view. We did not use the pool ,but it looked great with the infiniti edge. When we come back to Italy, we would definitely stay here.

We had a lovely stay at the Grand Hotel San Pietro, where the views are incredible and the staff is friendly and accommodating. They helped us book a great boat tour and worked quickly when we needed to get our car out of valet. There are a ton of options at breakfast, and the terrace has a beautiful view overlooking the infinity pool and the sea. The beach area is quiet and relaxing, with plenty of room, but it's very rocky and easy to cut your feet if you're not wearing shoes or stepping carefully. The room, bathroom and shower were small, though we had a large balcony, and the air conditioning couldn't cool the room completely. We were able to sleep comfortably only by running it constantly and not taking long hot showers. These issues aside, I would still recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Palinuro.

The view from the room was amazing. The staff was always available, rooms were perfectly clean, and the hotel is 5 min walking from the city centre. The only thing I did not like is the style of the hotel, too old for my point of view but the rest is perfect!

Lovely hotel but needs more attention to detail. We stayed as a couple in the Tersicore Deluxe Room for a week. Good points: Fabulous big balcony overlooking the sea and very private. Very comfortable bed with lovely pillows. Good quality bath robes/slippers/towels/toiletries. Bad points: Aircon was not working or at least not well. Controlled by reception so we had at least 5 uncomfortable nights. Whoever designed the bathroom needs to go to design school - you can sit on the toilet and have your partner walk in...no room! The shower needs a look at - no hot water during parts of the day and tricky to use. Lounger cushions ripped The beach is rocky but there is a long wooden pier/jetty to take you over the rocks so you can jump into sea.......but it was broken and removed for the whole of our stay!! No instructions available for the aircon/TV/Minibar cost (2.50 Euros for a tiddly bottle of water), no details about breakfast times, etc. There is a QR code but honestly I couldn't navigate it and find this information. The pool needs some attention in terms of cleanliness. As I said, a lovely hotel but the details are missing. Given we were staying in one of the top rooms the least I expected was a working aircon system.

Spectacular views of the beach and rock formations from our private beachfront patio. Large room and great breakfast at the adjoining restaurant overlooking the beachfront sunrise. Quiet restful stop. Favorite visit in Italy!

We stayed here at the end of a 3 week trip for 3 nights. We found this area of Italy on Google Earth, looking for a beach area that wasn't crowded. This hotel did not disappoint! We stayed in mid May, and it was shoulder season with very few guests at the hotel. We had booked one of the Exclusive rooms which had a beautiful terrace, along with a door from the shower outside. The staff was so nice! They helped us book blue grotto tour, as well as driver to get our Covid Testing before flying back to US. The pool and deck were so amazing, and we literally had to ourselves or with just a few other guests at any time. We had authentic pizza at Molly's Pub in town as recommended by the front desk...super yummy. We went twice during our stay. Breakfast was delicious. I love that they serve Prosecco too! Bartender Maurizzio and Restaurant Manager Domenic always provided great service! They were getting ready for summer season, so chairs not on the beach, but we were still able to head out for a couple ocean swims during our stay. We will definitely be back to this paradise in southern Italy.
