Clean hotel, clean rooms and good bathroom. Unfortunately extremely noisy (air conditioning and heating installation right below window front). Very weak WLAN. Rooms haven’t been cleaned every day. The hotel is good located if you want to visit the Chateau

Good stopover on our way from Normandy to Spain (if you do not wish to see Bordeaux). Excellent welcome from the male receptionist. The restaurant was closed. However, there was no kettle in the room and we really needed a hot drink, after a long drive. The receptionist provided fantastic service; bringing a beverage tray to the room with kettle, etc and hot milk! The room was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room in the bedroom and bathroom. The king size bed was comfortable and the towels were good. We left the car in the good sized car park and took the short walk into town. Regrettably, there were no bars and the only food we saw was a take away pizzeria so we were pleased we had eaten during our journey. When we arrived at the hotel it was very warm but the air conditioning worked and was not too noisy. The floor covering in the room and on the corridors provided good sound insulation. We had a very quiet night, This hotel has no frills but everything was well designed and in full working order. Very good value for money.

Correct services, clean, safe and quiet. Ideal for a short stopover stay. Breakfast choice is not too generous, one morning we were not too early for breakfast and we were told there are no more boiled eggs either.

Overnight stop on route to southern France. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice bed and good shower. Receptionist was extremely friendly and efficient. Restaurant was overpriced and not memorable. No others near by.

I stayed in this Hotel for 1 night. Very comfortable, clean and friendly staff. Food was very good too. The only small problem was no hot water in the morning. It was a general problem at the hotel. The director rang me and was very apologetic. Other that, I would recommend this hotel

The staff is excellent, with lots of friendly young faces helping around. The rooms and facilities are modern and acceptable, with generous parking and a high glass ceiling in the dining area (outdoor seating also available). At the level they have been reviewed however much nicer facilities are available at the same price. The food in particular was a downside. Some was good, we loved the scallops (St. Jacob's mussels) and warm goat cheese salad. My duck however was overcooked, and the dorade inedible. My wife enjoyed her salmon. Consider trying out L'Esprit des Vins, a short walk away around the corner (80 avenue Charles de Gaulle, 33650 La Brede, France). Hurry, they close at 10pm (20:00) on a Friday! I would not go back, but it was an acceptable if average hotel to base your explorations of Bordeaux from. p.s. it is hard to find, and the address given is not on my GPS. I searched for the largest nearby street (Avenue Charles de Gaulle) and found it from there.
