Fantastic little bed and breakfast for a night away with the motorbike, safe and secure parking and the couple who run it were friendly and accommodating and gave us a lovely brekkie and a room with a view, thank you.

We travelled down from doncaster on motorbikes, met with a warm welcome. Bikes were stored in a roomy garage with excellent security. The room was big and tea, coffee, water all provided. Lovely sea view, very comfy bed. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. We didn't have breakfast as we don't usually eat it, but it smelt beautiful. The hotel is clean and located directly opposite the beach. All pubs and attractions are within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

In my opinion his should be called a guesthouse and there is no private parking. The view is great, rooms have plenty of plugs and hot water. However, the furniture is old, cleanliness is wanting and decor poor.

We received a warm & friendly welcome from our hosts (Des & Lisa). As we had arrived by motorcycle (for our 4 day trip) Des then directed me to his secure double garage where my bike was to be stored. The room we had (no 4) was of good size with double & single beds, had a lovely sea view, was very clean, and had a very hot & powerful shower. Next morning the breakfast was marvellous consisting of yoghurt topped cereal, which I liberally adorned with strawberries & blueberries, followed by a top quality English breakfast: Every day this feast fuelled us up wonderfully & even after 4 days we didn't suffer English breakfast overload such was the quality of the food. We highly recommend this as a great place to stay in Weymouth.

This was our first time visiting Weymouth, and from the moment we entered the hotel we knew it was a good choice. It had a relaxing and welcoming feel to it as well as great character, and its’ position is second to none, to be right on the seafront was just amazing. Lisa and Des were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. We just did our own thing exploring the area and it was good to come back to a warm and comfortable base. The rooms were clean and comfortable (nice comfy bed!) with nice creative décor. The tea and coffee facilities were just right, which makes a nice change compared to some places. The ensuite was clean and modern with the usual shampoos etc and a nice clean supply of towels. The food at breakfast was fantastic (full marks to Des!) it was lovely to have a freshly cooked breakfast to order, or if you prefer, plenty of cereals, yogurt etc are right there on hand. We loved the location too, just a short walk (5-10 mins) from plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and entertainment. One tip though , we made the mistake of going for dinner at Brewers Fayre Lodmoor, the place was dirty, run down, badly staffed and the food was a disgrace and very cold. We went home hungry! Choose to eat out in Weymouth, there are lots of lovely places and Lisa and Des can recommend places, we should’ve checked with them first! All in all a very pleasant stay and will definitely book again for our next stay in Weymouth.

We have been coming here for the last few years with our two young children and we have already booked to return next year. Our room is always clean and tidy and has everything we need, including a mini fridge to keep our drinks chilled for a day at the beach. The location is great; close to the beach and in a quiet spot. Breakfast is always lovely with a good choice, including veggie options. Our children have autism and it is often difficult finding somewhere to stay which is accommodating; we have always been made to feel very welcome here.

Lovely place to stay. Aileen very welcoming. Hotel very clean & tidy. Perfect location on the seafront. Only drawback was no parking facilities, but the Pavilion car park about 15 minutes walk is fine. £8 for 24 hours

Have stayed before under the previous owners and we were very satisfied but the hotel has moved up another notch under conscientious and caring supervision of the new co-owner Aileen. She kindly allowed us to stay for the first couple of days while she was away. But on her return we got the complete service. Our first floor front room had the full famous view across Weymouth Bay , greatly enhanced by two strategically placed armchairs. The room itself was sizable with a an en-suite, including a lovely hot shower. The four poster bed was comfortable and we had no problem sleeping. Tea, biscuits and coffee provided. Breakfast to suit all tastes, including full English cooked to order. I was sitting outside one afternoon when Aileen kindly bought me a tray of coffee and biscuits a nice thoughtful touch. The hotel itself is located a few yards from the beach. Out of season parking is free all day opposite and at other times you can park nearby in the back streets. Free WiFi worked well. A pleasant 15 minute stroll to town along the Esplanade. Aileen has done a great job updating what is in essence nearly a 200 year old building, with all that entails. For the best rates book direct.
